  We really liked the apartment that backed up to the Alaska State Museum. It was very quiet and it was very functional. We cooked every morning and evening - lowering our travel expenses. It was located around the corner from a wonderful restaurant for breakfast and lunch and juat a block from a very well supplied grocery. The staff were very h... wat mensen zeggen » elpful and the shuttles to and from the ferry/airport were very convenient and efficient. Great stay - and we were there 8 nights total! - The efficient and free shuttle to and for the ferry terminal and the airport is a $100 round trip value. The drivers are knowledgeable about the area with good suggestions for hikes, tickets for shuttles to Mendenhall Glacier, etc. computer in lobby for printing boarding passes also helpful. And they let you check in as soon as a room is ready when you come in on a ferry in the early morning.

  The staff was incredibly helpful. Tony at the front desk did everything he could to assist us even after we checked out of the hotel. He kept an eye on our luggage while we spent the day in Fairbanks and while our second hotel refused to pick us up, Tony arranged for our transfer. Outstanding service in the hotel and in the restaurant. We paid 75 dollars for a spacious double room, that was clean and had everything necessary for even a longer stay. Wi Fi was perfect. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night and had to leave early in the morning, so we can say nothing about breakfast quality. Generally, this place, if they keep their present rates, is highly recommended.

  Beautiful grounds, sweet little pond with nice landscaping. Cabins are cute, comfortable and well stocked for cooking. Off the beaten track--in the woods, nice neighborhood for walking. There is a fabulous crepe restaurant around the corner even though it is in a neighborhood. - Excellent facilities in a great location if you don't have to be ... wat mensen zeggen » directly in Seward. Other reviewers have complained about not meeting an owner onsite, but this was no problem at all. The one small question we had was promptly answered by phone.

  Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Wonderfully spacious with a great view of the river. The staff was friendly and ever so helpful with allowing us to store our luggage after checkout and before our departure. The information on the area was easily available for all the restaurants in the area and the different sight seeing tours. The continental breakfast was just right and was even able to wash a load of laun - People in Alaska were very friendly, but here was awesome! We stayed in May 2013. The best room we had in our trip. We felt like home, (even better!). I still remember the chocolate muffins. Thanks a lot for a piece of peace in a crazy and 24 hour round clock trip in Alaska.

  The motel was away from the hubbub near the Denali National Park entrance, yet close enough that we had easy access to the park. The room was functional, and had a refrigerator and access to wi-fi. Compared to other lodging in the area, the price was good. The advertisement in the Alaska Milepost indicated that wildlife might come through the mote... wat mensen zeggen » l grounds - we didn't see any on-site, but saw three moose directly across the highway to the east - wonderful. - Staff very friendly & helpful, close to Denali & Healy, good food at 49th State Brewery which is just down the road. You get the feeling of being away from it all for example a moose was grazing at the hotel when we got there. Nice to have fridge & microwave in room.

  Everyone at the hotel was really nice. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the rooms were. They will also pay for your taxi to and from the airport which is a nice bonus! - breakfast, free HBO, location, rooms, free taxi to train station, no problems.

  A perfect hotel for Juneau! My wife and I were a little nervous when we booked it as the description and the pictures of the hotel didn't quite fit with the price. Upon arrival we found it to be exactly what we were looking for! It is an old building and has all the charm and class that turn of the century buildings have. Loved the room and the quirkiness of the setting. Gr - The room was very clean and also nicely decorated. The bathroom was very nice size with a great bathtub. I loved having the balth salts. The food was great, and the breakfast that came with the room was excellent.The recomendations for food outside the Silverbow were spot on. Location was great. Staff were very nice and helpful. The photos in the dining area were great-they made me want to see more of Alaska.
