The price matched the accommodations-- the room was clean but the price was not inflated with "extras" (shampoo and conditioners, fancy furnishings, etc.) that we didn't need for a quick stay on the beach. The full sized fridge was great because we had space for groceries, and the tile floors were perfect for not tracking sand everywhere. Not to mention, we didn't have to worry about the room smelling like old wet carpet! Also, the pool was right outside our door and the beach was right there a.

Great location to the beach! Very nice pool- had a small section that was shallow enough for our 2 year old. Was quiet at night, but active during the day. Staff was extremely accomodating! Would go again!. When I walked in the room, the A/C was cranked up to 60 degrees F. This is awesome. That is quite possibly the most considerate thing any motel/hotel has ever done for me. And if you like it to be super warm, well... it is not hard to warm up your room in 5 minutes. But had it been the other way around, I never would have been able to get it cold that fast. The staff was very nice. The rooms were ceramic tile and NOT nasty dingy carpet! The motel is a dated as far as decor BUT it is clean and that is a BID DEAL considering I have 3 kids ages 4, 3, and 5 months. It is right on the beach which would have been wonderful had my family and I been able to go out there. Staff was excellent and room was very clean. Price was very cheap which is what mattered most to us because we were only staying there one night waiting to check into a larger resort. It is a very good value...priced according to the lack of frills. The high rating for this hotel on letsbookhotel.com, etc. is warranted. Showers were clean...room was clean...great location to beach...pool was beautiful...staff was awesome...from the maids right to the maintance,men...staff Terri,went above and beyond was willing to help answer questions, or get you what ever you needed...owner was very nice too.. We would definetly return. I felt so comfortable at this motel that I let my 13, 10, and 6 year old go to the pool themselves. I have a brie of the pool from my room so I was able to check on them periodically. There was a kitchenette so I save lots of money cooking quick meals instead of eating out. The staff were very friendly upon arrival and departure. Come time for the ocean, it was upfront and close. Along with any where you needed to go, it was all close by. The room we stayed in was clean when we got there and clean when we left. The service was fast and good. I liked that they are dog friendly and very clean. The outside grills were a nice convenience. The staff is very friendly and takes time to actually speak with you. A no frills place that for the money is hard to beat. Awesome water pressure! We will be back. We enjoyed our 3 night stay, close to entertainment, beach front, and family/pet friendly. Staff was courteous. Not too much noise at night when we were ready to lay down and relax. Parking was a little difficult--there were limited spaces free (as the motel was booked full) and our large truck made it even harder. By morning time we could hear people out in the pool, which was right outside our door, but that isn't a huge issue when most of the day isn't spent in the room anyway. Ice machine was in front office- but we would just get a bucket and put it in the freezer in room. The weather was terrible which of course the motel could not help that but it did make me wish for an indoor pool but truthfully I saw no real downside. Again though remember it is not the Ritz Carlton but it is worth the price. We paid for a room with 2 queen beds but got 2 double beds because the room was labeled wrong in the office. Staff would probably have changed it but we had already unloaded our stuff so didn't bother (as it was only for one night and not a big deal to us). Pool was not heated and ice cold. None of the negatives were that important to us. Rooms needed a little updating. The beds were not very comfortable. After the second night, we were both sore from our shoulders down. But I guess you get what you pay for... No hot-tub, no work out room, no coffee packets. The room furniture is dated with many scratches etc... and the refrigerator and microwave are circa 1980's but, everything does work. No frills here. This wasn't a fault of the hotel, rather an inconsiderate previous customer who didn't wash their dishes, they just put them back up in the cabinet--dirty!. Only thing I can think of is, it does not have a "hot tub" but that is no biggie in our books. I would not allow my children in the pool. (They don't mind the cold water). There was trash floating in the water - including a black plastic bag. The bottom had sand and leaves and I never saw anyone - the 4 days I was there - checking chlorine levels, pH, or anything. That was disappointing. The rooms are in need of some updating. Everything seems to be old and worn. The internet connection was so slow it was useless. We liked everything about this motel. There's nothing we didn't like. :). we were in the first room which is next to the office and laundry room so we heard the noises from those but was bearable... the showerhead had no water pressure and the water barely came out. N/A. no coffeemaker.... Old phone and remote need cleaning. I didn't use either. motel is older and not up-dated but fine for us for price.Parking lot was a bit small but we always found a space to park. appliances old but worked. That we just stayed one night instead of several. The parking spaces was to small and they need to be bigger because you were right on top of each other!!! It was also hard for me to open my door to the room my key would not work right!!!. the shower control were a bit difficult ( can be updated) no hair dryer parked cars right in front of the room on 1st level. The pool was empty when we arrived. It was very inconvenient to have to remove my pets from the room when they had a secure crate. The railings on the balcony were too far apart. It's dated... But kind of fun for being on the beach. couldn't stay longer. Outside of hotel could use some updating but the insides were great!. Little bit old. Remote control sticky (yerk) and kitchen not very clean. Lack of security to watch over vehicles as we were on motorcycles. We would have preferred a covered garage with security. No coffie/ no paper towels. They are pet friendly so barking dogs can be a nuisance, however this is the pet owners problem, not the staff. They are excellent. We had a romn on the first floor and bc the flooring is tile there was a fair amount of noise from the room above. the room next to the office was a little noisy when the housecleaning services started. No ocean front rooms that I could tell. Cannot think of anything unacceptable. I wish I would have gotten a beach view room!. had to come back home and work )-:. Drink machines did not work. The safety rails on the stairs, and rails on on level two. I felt they need to be more secure. Gnats came in if the doors were open for too long.
