Great choice for ny stay. Clean, modern and new look. I read past
comments about the time they took to change towels or sheets. It
didn't happen to us. Room service was at our door around 9 am.

The staff was very polite and the manager helped me chose a specific
room prior to my stay. The Hotel is fairly modern and cozy. Not too
upscale that you'd feel like your sleeping in an overly furnished
office space.
The TV's are great. It has DirectTV so you wont miss your favorite shows, but if you have a game console or media hub you can plug it in to the available HDMI port. Most hotels block this or have a dedicated hotel TV service with complicated menus and standard quality TV, so this w

Regarding location, some might find the surrounding industry/depot businesses disturbing, but you cannot beat the stunning view of the Manhattan skyline, you have from all rooms and the rooftop-terrace. The area is quiet at night - also if you walk home to your hotel in the evening. Convenient with the complimentary hotel shuttlebus, but you could also easily walk to the subway station Queensboro Plaza 7 blocks from the hotel (8 min walk). We loved the spacious room, the decoration of the room, the hotel, the
general design and clever use which was made of he space. Our room was
terrific and are grateful for the upgrade. We saw the Chrysler Building
from our bed ... very cool. The staff were adorable and extremely
helpful. And the old-timer car service was coolest of all ! The
proximity to the subway (one stop only from Grand Central !) and from
the ferry to dumbo and Wall Street make this a very good alternative to
highly priced

Excellent price, stayed 8 nights and saved $2000 compared with Manhattan. Room was enormous and comfortable. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Hotel amenities were superb with breakfast, free tea/coffee in lobby and coffee machine in room, cold water top ups, plenty of toiletries, free laundry facilities etc. -all superb.

Everything was fantastic. Staff were amazing big shout out to Valerie
and Justine especially. We were upgraded to a suite and it was superb. A
few mins walk to train station, took 10mins to get to Manhatten, and
some great pubs within 5mins walk. Felt safe walking the area at night
too. There was hot beverages on tap 24 hours a day and free. There was
even an ice machine and vending machines. Highly recommend the Verve and
was one of tbe best hotels ever

The location may not be the most attractive one in NYC but it is very convenient - fast transportation to the hotel from the JFK airport by subway; only few minutes subway ride to Manhattan. The subway station is so close to the hotel, that when you got off the station you can actually see the hotel right from there. The vicinity of the hotel seems to be quite safe and it was rather quiet in the night. We had very good view on Empire State building and Queensboro bridge from the hotel room. The

The hotel was easy to find and the gps took us right there. The hotel is
located across from a Holiday Inn. If you look up the address on Google
Maps, the picture that is taken is rather old so the hotel was not built

We stayed in this hotel for 7 nigths and we suggest it for this position
and for the clearing of the room. I will choice it again because of the
position: It is 2 min walking to the 39th underground station ( yellow
line, 5 stops to Time Square). The first day we noted that the room was
without the hairdryer and the staff provided soon to give us one. The
breakfast room is a little small but it is not impossible like I read in

The hotel is very clean, very comfortable and the rooms are nice and updated. The staff are super friendly and always ready to help. The free breakfast is better than most hotels offer. I liked that the hotel's location was only 3 or 4 blocks away from
the subway. The bed was fabulous, king size. I couldn't get up
early enough because of it. The view I had on the fifth floor room 501
wasn't he greatest. I could still see the city, but I thought the
hotel would be closer to the Manhattan view. It's great they had a

We like the open spaces both indoor and out. Lots of places to gather with family or friends. Our room was a king-size room and comfortable and clean. We had a skyline view of manhattan. Location in LI City was great. Close to the subway.Staff was very friendly. GM met with us briefly late on a saturday night because we were in town briefly to begin planning for our son's wedding.
