The service..attentive but not intrusive. The location...right in front of the beach. The price.Excellent value for money.
The kitchenette in the chalets would benefit form some basic equipment. You can ask the resort for a kettle...but crockery, electric ring etc would be appreciated particularly since the restaiurant menu, though nice,is limited to Arabic,Indian and Chinese food.
the beach and closeness to it.
the food... apart from the Indian Cuisine
It was very tranquil, but that could have been as it is still slightly'off-season'. The staff were very helpful and attended very promptly toany request.
We only had one 'disappointment' - the lack of a cooker in the kitchen. We went prepared to cook our meals - and couldn'T. We saw the managerabout this who explained about the need for fire extinguishers and othercomplications should cookers ever be provided. We accepted that but Ithink it would be worth an extra line on your website to mention thatthere is no cooking facility in the Chalets.
We stayed from Apr. 10 - Apr-11, 2011. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a good value for the price. Ocean shore was clean.
Pool needs cleaning. The barrack adjacent the pool needs to be re-done.
Value for money, included everything we needed in a resort hotel e.g. a detached house with privacy, beach for sunbathing or swimming or diving, restaurant for breakfast, swimming pool...for only a few hundred AED per night!! I highly recommend Holiday Beach Motel when you stay in Dibba, Fujairah!
We stayed in this motel for two days, but no one cleaned my room on the next day.
Relaxing and quiet
Even though we made a number of phone calls before our visit no one informed us about the red tide.
Customer service, spacious studio chalets, food prices and quality
Beach not suitable for swimming at all. Shower and changing facilities at pool poor.
Food and beverage service - excellent. Quick delivery, correct order, friendly staff could not have asked for more
Receptionists could have tried to smile and be a little more friendly. No information given on check in, i.e. where any of the facilities were etc.
The Indian food in the onsite Coral Restaurant was excellent. There has been substantial re-refurbishment and the hotel represents excellent value.
Internet access was limited to via a small business centre. Not really sufficient.
chalets were close to the beach and close to a very relaxed, friendly dive centre - just what i wanted. also thought water and fruit in the room, compliments of the hotel, was a nice touch. fridge in the room had good range of non-alcoholic drinks.
it's not the most luxurious place in the world, but absolutely fine by me for the price.
HBM had a relaxed atmosphere and a great natural setting (with its own private beach). Warm welcome upon arival.
Breakfast buffet was not very appetising (overcooked / cold food). Restaurant staff kept getting our order wrong.....felt like i was on set of Faulty Towers.
Location is good and facilities reasonable for quality of hotel
Restaurant facilities were limited but menu was varied and suited all tastes. The furnishings around the pool were basic and uncomfortable - proper lougers would be more acceptable.
Beach facilities. Snorkelling.
We were charged 75 dhs per night for an extra bed, which was a foam mattress. We also paid an extra 75dhs for the use of bbq, which had not been mentioned on your website.
Location and layout
The airconditioning was very noisy, the play area for kids and the outdoor shower taps are not maintained properly, but to be fair there is a renovation in progress. So hope things will improve. The breakfast buffet is not very appetising.
I go there for the diving so I enjoy the proximity of the dive center and easy to use facilities
The restaurant made up a buffet breakfast for 30AED/pax that i did not feel was value for money and the menu selection was not friendly to non local guest
very relaxing place
the pool was too hot, needs to be chilled, would love to see beach bar there.
Relaxed, quiet, chalet type bungalows with parking next to accomodation and plenty of outside space - much more sociable than a hotel room for a larger groups taking a few chalets. Pool open late.
Individual room AC units noisy, kept some people awake, but too hot to turn off in September. Chalets don't have a kettle or hob, but do have a large fridge. Charge for BBQ (70AED) not advised, but everything you need was provided for that (Lge BBQ, charcoal, lighter fluid, grills etc)
it was relaxing
the garbage drums are kept open in front of every chalet
Nice beach and staff - excellent scuba diving center
food not impressive
Move information about where to access certain things like - kitchen goods(jugs, cups, plate) diving and snorkling gear. Was under the impression from web-site that I had booked a chalet - with sleeping arrangements for two single adults - got there and found only a double bed. Not helpful when two females are travelling together.
The motel is extremely basic and very shabby. Facilities were limited
Housekeeping in rooms poor. No management - taken to a refurbished 1 bedroom chalet first, then to a miserable 2 bedroom chalet after insisting on having booked for 4 people.
The Dive Centre.
The staff, the beach, the facilities.
this was a very poor choice - as we had attempted to book a 5 star hotel it was surprising that we we offered this as an alternative when our request was not available
the rooms and facilities were very poor and dirty and the night club kept us awake until 3.00 am
