  The staff were great, I arrived 10 minutes after making the booking and caught them on the hop but I was able to eat a really pleasant meal whilst they prepped the room. The room was great and the following morning I enjoyed an excellent breakfast cooked by the owner. Overall a lifesaver and somewhere if I'm in the area I will definitely stay aga... wat mensen zeggen » in. - The personal service - breakfast cooked to order. A B&B rather than a 'pub' but with evening meals readily available. Very good location for visiting Donnington Park and NT property. Safe/easy parking. No noisy Wedding Party on Saturday night as encountered in larger hotels!

  We stayed here as we had a track day at Donington park. Geography wise it's perfect, only took around 20 minutes to get to the track and gave the car a chance to warm up in case there was a noise test. There was a good selection of beers (including 4 hand pull ales, leffe on draught and the usual suspects). We had the steak special of the day, whi... wat mensen zeggen » ch included a mountain of dauphinoise potatoes with a lovely red wine sauce. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the meat was obviously of good - This place was a real surprise. I normally would stay in a Premier Inn for work but it was booked out. The internet in the room was good and free. The staff were really friendly. The food was excellent and was a lot better than you would expect from a pub.
