  The grainary is amazing, can't wait to go again, you are in the middle of the countryside and wake up to birds singing and overlooking the animals and fields, a true break from reality, my children aged 14 and 6 could not have been happier, they loved the play room and had some fab long walks around the farm petting the super friendly animals as w... wat mensen zeggen » e went, I could not recommend this place highly enough and the staff always had time for a little chat with the children, also only a short very sceni - The Grainary is a working farm, with a B&B on the side, so if you like the atmosphere of a farm, off on the edge of the moors, you'll love it. Children are especially well catered for, as they have every imaginable farm animal in the fields near the house, plus dogs, rabbits, a ferret and certainly one or two I've missed.   Upon arrival the staff were friendly and throughout my stay. My room was enormous, well decorated and came supplied with a more than an ample supply of tea and coffee. I had a sea view and I couldn't of been happier. The food and service was fabulous, the location couldn't of been more perfect and the areas within the hotel for drinking/eating or... wat mensen zeggen » just relaxing we're fantastic. I would definitely stay again, the added bonus as a surfer was that the heated bath rail in the bathroom was very war - I got an excellent room only rate from letsbookhotel.com- £29 per night for a double room. I asked for a quiet room on an upper floor and got just that. The room was very clean and was much better than I had expected for the price. I have stayed in a number of the old victorian hotels in Scarborough and this certainly matches them- however as a result of the price it offers the best value for money I have seen. It was perfect for location and a short walk to everything. I was originally put off by reviews I had read on the Delmont, but please don't let it put you off. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely go back. Breakfast was great and prompt service :)
