The Sheridan is well located close to both the seafront and the town. The accomodation is excellent with a clean well appointed room with excellent facilities. the hosts Kim and Arthur could not have been nicer. They were very welcoming and friendly. Everything was done to make our stay enjoyable. I liked the way that you could choose what you had at breakfast time. The breakfasts were beautiful and cooked how I liked it. Everything ! The whole hotel is immaculate and incredibly clean. Without doubt the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. Rooms are well specified with neat touches like a combi DVD / TV and scented candles. Hosts are very friendly and are very keen to help and ensure everybody gets what they need out of their stay be it local info or just a relaxing time. The food is of a very high standard and t,well presented. Service is first class. There was lots of choices of different breakfasts available.
Friendliness made very welcome. The breakfast are excellent the room and the whole hotel very clean rooms cleaned everyday. The location was great for the town, beach, parks and other attractions. We have not used a private hotel for many years but were extremely pleased and will be going back. Our thanks to Kim and Aurthur for making our few days away so enjoyable.
Very friendly people. Made to feel at home as soon as you step inside. Breakfasts were some of the best we have had. The room and bathroom were spotless, as other reviews have stated. Arthur and Kim were great , nothing was too much trouble and we left after our break and would definitely return next time we are in Scarborough.
Friendly but not over friendly , like a home from home , clean , tidy , looked after us from arrival , couldn't do enough for us , lovely room , very good well prepared food to order . Nice location , ten minutes walk to the town centre or the beach/Peasholme Park /Open Air Theatre . Highly recommended .
Excellent room with plenty of hanging space and drawer space plus TV and tea making facilities. Excellent home made food - plentiful and extremely tasty.

Kim Arthur and Jon Paul were so very friendly and immediately made you feel at home.The whole place was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was second to none.

Not really a dislike mre a comment and one outside if tge owners control. Like all major established towns parking can be a problem but following the advice on the Sheridan web site to book parking off road was not a problem. The buses in Scarborough are good.
Front room had noise from the road , but we were warned of that before we chose that room.That problem will be sorted soon as windows to be double glazed.
