  Located in a lovely valley with beautiful gardens. The catering options were second to none - breakfast exceptional; dinner and bar snacks excelent value. Could not fault the staff, who were friendly and helpful. The room and bed were very comfortable and well appointed. It was our 30th wedding anniversary and when returning from dinner found re... wat mensen zeggen » d roses on the bed - a lovely thoughtful touch! We would definately not stay anywhere else on Guernsey, the whole ambience of the hotel was so relaxin - The hotel is in a truly stunning setting, looking out over a wooded gully, to the sea. Service was good, as was the food at both restaurants - it's well worth a trip to the Rock Garden for a few cocktails, too! Possibly the best hotel we've stayed at in Guernsey. Potential bookers should note that this is NOT in St Peter Port town but a rural location in the parish.

  The rooms were fab, perfect, staff all very friendly, Malcolm was brilliant, doggy receptionist was cute! :-) Food was fab, place amazing, relaxing, enjoyable, peaceful, restful and I would def come again in 2014!!! The tv remote wasn't working so I reported this o the front desk. By the time I had had my meal, the tv had been replaced and was working fine. Thank you.

  Everything. From the first point of contact with this Hotel, this has been a First Class experience at Le Chene The Hotel is well managed..! Staff are warm, friendly as well as very Professional in all their Duties Food served to a very High Standard catering for special diets i.e. Vegetarian, which was imperative in our case, the Chef is a "Profe... wat mensen zeggen » ssional" we enjoyed both our Breakfast and Dinner everyday of our trip. Waiting Staff are in one word "Exceptional." Can't wait to return back in to G - Staff were helpful & friendly, the common rooms & bedroom were decent and well maintained. The hotel was correct value for money and I would stay there again. I usually stay in the centre of St Peter Port but in future I will enjoy a quieter location using taxi and/or my legs!

We didn't use the pool because of the weather, but it looks to be good place to laze around on a hot day. - The very friendly and helpful staff.   We were very impressed with the friendliness of all the staff, especially Donna the manageress who was extremely helpful all the time. We liked the cleanliness and the fact that the towels and drink making facilities were renewed every day. We enjoyed the entertainment as do the residents of Grandes Rocques who use the Wayside cheer as their local... wat mensen zeggen » . The food was very good with plenty of choice and reasonable prices. If we go back to Guernsey this will definitely be our first choice to stay. - To be honest there was nothing we didn't like.We loved our room (27).The beds were very comfortable,the bedding and towels clean and fresh.David,Carla,Alex and Philippa were superb and looked after us really well and we let them know this.Thanks too to the kitchen staff whose meals we enjoyed each evening.We also enjoyed the entertainment whilst we were there.   The staff were brilliant and helpful. I was ill while I was there and they couldn't do enough for me. And they looked after my husband as I never left the room. The hotel is in a great location, good bus links to the rest of the island. Great walks, your right on the sea front. The bed was comfy, plenty of fresh towels, a - The hotel is in a great location - great views and within very easy reach of lively beaches, airport and St Peter Port. The staff are accommodating, friendly and very knowledgable. Though not the most modern of hotels, the price is fantastic and we would definitely come back for a cheap yet lovely weekend getaway.

  The room was lovely with a very large, comfortable bed. The toiletries were good quality, and we had a good supply of tea making facilities and biscuits. Which we were. - The hotel was more like a 5 star and the staff so friendly, they all made us feel so welcome.The breakfasts on the terrace were lovely. We only ate out two nights out of 9 and the hotel food was far superior. Olga was an absolute treasure, she looked after us so well, I would recommend this hotel.

  Abbey Court Hotel was perfect for our needs. We stayed in the family room, which has the children's room separate from the parents', separated by 2 doors, so there is privacy whilst still easy access to the children, and they are within hearing distance. The rooms are small but with enough space to move around. They are very clean; tastefully deco... wat mensen zeggen » rated; there is plenty of drawer and cupboard space to unpack clothes into; the shower is excellent - strong and hot; and the beds very comfortable. W - The wife of the owner of the hotel was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was so kind and made me a sandwich in the middle of the day when the kitchen was obviously not open. She knew I was having a horrible day and was so sweet, purely out of the graciousness of her own heart. What a lovely hotel and staff. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and personal.

  The five star service started the moment we were greeted at the airport by a key member of staff from the Bella Luce.We were given a short tour of the island and arrived at the hotel , check in was smooth and efficient, we were given a brief show round of the hotel and it's facilities and shown to our luxurious room overlooking the gardens and poo... wat mensen zeggen » l.Throughout our stay the staff were superb, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly.Food and ambience very romantic and 1st class quality. The faciliti - Lovely old-fashioned feeling with modern amenities. Professional and nice staff. Rooms are very clean. I stayed in a single room. The room itself was spacious enough but the bathroom was tiny. There was an iron and iron board in the room, which was a big +. Excellent breakfast. The location is a bit inconvenient. Not in walking distance from the town and there really is no restaurants (except hotels own) in waking distance. However bus 81 stops next to the hotel.
