Just off the motorway,so handy for an early start for the ferries.The rooms were good, plenty of parking and adjacent eating facilities were a welcome bonus.A value for money stopover and we were not aware of traffic noise from the motorway. -

The hotel staff were extremely helpful. Lovely room. Readily available access to the leisure facilites. Son managed to fit in 5 swimming sessions in an overnight stay! Lots of choice of dining/drinking areas. Great breakfast.

We were only there for one night for a nostalgic visit to the surrounding area which we last visited 55 yrs ago. The dinner on Sunday evening and the breakfast the following morning were excellent. The staff at reception when we arrived could not have been more friendly and helpful as were the bar and restaurant staff. A very enjoyable overnight stay

We went for our first year anniversary. We couldn't have picked a
better place to stay. The staff were helpful and left you to yourselves
but at the same time made sure you were well looked after. The next
morning the varierity of food was huge and everything was cooked and
tasted lovely. 5* service. We will be back. -

My room was nice and clean and the continental breakfast was very generous, with the option of a full English for an extra fee. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Centraal in de stad - Staff were very friendly. English breakfast was satisfying. Room was spacious and clean. The location was very convenient. Overall we were very satisfied. It's a totally novel experience to spend a night inside the grounds of a truly historic castle, to be there after it's closed to day-visitors and to wake up to the silence before it re-opens. The nature around the castle is very well maintained. Being in the castle before/after hours allows a nice peaceful walk. There are a lot of things to do with small children, from watching/feeding wildlife to going to the maze and the playgrounds.
The rooms were bright yet warm (despite the very cold weather outside) and the furnishing is comfortable and tasteful.

The staff are very welcoming and checking-in late at night isn't a problem. Although it has quite a few rooms it still retains a small hotel friendly feel.
The bar meals are good value and there is a good choice, with plenty of people choosing to dine in the bar area. There's lots of space.

I travel away from home most weeks. What I look for in a hotel is, clean, comfortable and friendly service. I had all these. Nowadays I also require Wifi and off road parking. The Grangemoor had it all. I would particularly like to thank Ceiwens and Nicola plus the evening bar staff who made by three nights stay a very pleasant one. Well done and thank you.

We were a family of 6. We stayed in 2 quad rooms. Outstanding beds and comforters. We slept like babies. The hot breakfast they offer was a great way to start the day as 2 children eat free for each adult paying. This is one of the best values in a hotel I've ever had.
