  As per all the reviews that I read the owners and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Every where was nice and clean and a superb breakfast cooked to order. Off road and safe parking was also a big plus for us. Also only 2 miles from raf Halton with no town to go through. Thank you for a lovely stay, we wil... wat mensen zeggen » l be back. P.S. Try 'The Oak' public house about 5 minutes walk away for great food and a good selection of beers etc. - Warm, friendly welcome. Hotel was lovely and authentic. Rooms comfortable and clean. Plenty of tea/coffee making facilities. Wide variety for breakfast - as in cereal, fruit and cakes with the added cooked breakfast (although I thought one piece of bacon and one sausage not enough). On the whole would definitely stay there again as it is very close to the RAF base. Also there are a few pubs/restaurants in the quiet village so you don't have to eat at the hotel.

  Staff were so friendly and helpful. We booked two rooms as they don't provide family rooms. We arrived early and they let us leave our luggage and also changed our rooms so that we had adjoining rooms so the children could be close by. Very clean and comfortable in a beautiful setting. Lovely breakfast also.   Food & atmosphere, friendly helpful staff all refreshingly young with good knowledge of local area. Rooms well appointed & really comfortable. Late back from theatre but a phone through food order was taken & ready on arrival. Extensive continental breakfast available in the dining room. Lovely stay - would definitely return and recommend. - I enjoy the the stay here as staff were very nice and very eager to help. My family enjoyed the food and the family room was spacious and bright and clean.
