  hotel was very spacious ,lovely view from the windows on to the golf course,staff was really friendly and would stop and have a chat with you.food was fantastic,,hotel was so clean,we will be staying there again without a doubt. - Size of room, great food

  The owners are genuinely friendly, and warmly welcomed us. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and modern. Breakfasts are superb, using locally sourced ingredients, and including fresh fruits and homemade yoghurt. Great central location for exploring countryside and coast. Plenty of historic places of interest, including nearby Tintagel. Near to... wat mensen zeggen » the fantastic Camel Trail, for cyclists and walkers. We'd have no hesitation in recommending Helstone House, and would certainly stay there again. - Everything - very friendly & welcoming hosts. Clean, large comfortable room and en suite, with large walk in shower. Bottled water & hot drink sachets + biscuits provided. Fantastic breakfast. Home made yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereals, toast & choice of cooked breakfast (inc fresh fish) every day. We were offered and advised on the local places of interest, which was very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay and would not hesitate to recommend Helstone House to others.

  Great Location to see all the major Towns and sights in Cornwall & Devon / Plymouth.The Pine cabin we hired was great value and accommodated 4 adults and two children comfortably.It was a pleasure to come back to after each days sightseeing adventures.The heated pool was also a great way to end the day with the Grandchildren.They loved it &... wat mensen zeggen » ; looked forward to their swim after a full days sightseeing. - I loved the location. We were well based for Padstow, Polzeath, Newquay, Port Isaac and King Arthurs Castle. The site is lovely and quiet and the swimming pool was warm. The Gold Caravan was spotless and had everything we could have needed. The onsite pub is only open from six however the food is lovely , generous sized portions. The childrens meals are especially good value.
