  Unpretentious luxury. We chose a room with a patio as it could be used if it rained since it was beneath the balcony of the room above. It was large with plenty of storage space and comfy chairs & sofa. We requested and received sheets & blankets as we don’t get on with duvets. The lounge bar food was both - It is very difficult to find anything specific as everything was expected from seeing the reviews and pictures on the website, which totally do The Coniston justice. My partner is from Yorkshire and we visit regularly and the location was perfect. Just outside Skipton and on the outskirts of the stunning Dales National Park.   We liked the railway theme that ran throughout the B&B. Our room, the Littondale, with its Orient Express design was a delight to enjoy. The well kept grounds were welcoming, as was the cup of tea that was freshly made for us after we'd put our bags in our room. We had to leave very early the following morning so we didn't get to sample the ho... wat mensen zeggen » me cooking, but we were impressed with the cold breakfast that was left available for us. - Tudor house is a refurbished railway station and is beatifully placed away from the hustle and bustle in the countryside. we were welcomed like old friends and shown to our beautifully furnished room complete with chandelier! The breakfast was gorgeous, fresh farm eggs and anything that you could have wished for including fresh figs. The honesty bar is a good idea and the lounge perfect for sitting in at the end of the day to relax.

  There was nothing not to like! Zoe and Kevin made us welcome the minute we drove up. We were offered tea or coffee (kids hot choc) which we were really grateful for! The fire was lit in the guest lounge - small and cosy! The rooms were large and luxurious. Well thought out rooms and beautifully decorated, I'm sure for anyone's taste. Breakfast was great (lovely dining room with guest fridge) or in sum - The rooms are fantastic, high quality furnishings and the showers are second to none! The view from the bedrooms across the fields and hills is so wonderful. There are several places to go out to eat which are within easy reach by car. The owners Keith and Zoe are great. Nothing was to much trouble and they like a good laugh. The breakfast is cooked by Keith via the Aga. All local quality produce is used where possible. (Try Keiths porrage)

  We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived and the cakes in our room tasted great. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. Myself and my wife wanted a relaxing weeknd and that is exactly what we had. They are very friendly and welcoming, with fresh flowers, cakes and biscuits in the room. They try their best to ensure that your stay with them meets all your requirements and make you feel like friends of the family.
