Quaint little English town. Extremely close to Woodstock and located in the backyard of the Blenheim Palace. Recently renovated B&B. A no brainer!!! Also right across the street to where Sir Winston Churchill is buried. Also the White House Pub located near this B&B (a simple walk) is outstanding. Book this place early as chances are it will become unavailable.

This is a fairly new and beautifully appointed hotel. We stayed in an Executive Suite which was a lovely room. The room was spotless, the bed wonderfully comfortable and great corner settee to lounge on.

The Courtyard Woodstock Hotel is a new building just 3 minutes from the train station that has a 10 minute train ride to Oxford and Cotswold villages.There are also good bus connections to Woodstock Blenheim Palace and other Cotswold villages. Easy to get to public footpaths for country walks.
The staff in the onsight cafe is very pleasant and friendly.

The location was perfect being close to all the shops and pubs in Woodstock. Everything about the hotel was excellent, no complaints at all. - We enjoyed the relaxed attitude of the staff. They made us feel that we could treat the hotel as our home.

"No place is better than home". That was written in the kitchen of this fantastic b&b. It's different from every other hotel in woodstock because You can try to live as English do. In a very English home and in the morning have breakfast in a very English kitchen with excellent cooks that prepare You whatever You want.

Very nice staff, very helpfull and enthusiastic. The evening room bed turn down service, especially topping up tea and coffee which we had used was a very nice touch. - Great surroundings, wonderfull village, very helpfull staff and a great bedroom.

Everything - we love Woodstock and Now Love the Star Inn . We usually stay at the Feathers but having seen the refurbishment going ahead we decided to have a change. It's friendly and laid back and the decor is beautiful . The breakfast was also very nice - we choose a small full english and fresh orange juice ( no Eggs benadict on the menu ,but

We received a great reception at the Stay Inn. This a lovely old pub with beautiful oak beams. The staircase is not for the feint hearted. Our bedroom was very comfortable with a soft mattress, the large walk in shower was ideal. The restaurant ambiance and food were excellent, all the staff were great but Joe especially made such a great effort. Great breakfast. Very highly recommended right in Woodstock centre.

Food-wise we had a cream tea one afternoon and breakfast both mornings, both of which were really tasty (the full english is a generous size).
Our room was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, it had a real country feel to it. We were front facing but as Woodstock is such a quiet town there

immediately felt welcome and at home. There is a wonderful coffee
shop/cafe/restaurant. The breakfast was fabulous and although
some comments have suggested that service is slow, it was cooked fresh
to order and hence there is going to be a small wait. We would
definitely stay again.
