  Just there for one night, but everything was fine. The hotel accommodates shooting parties, so it was a novelty to see people carrying gun cases through the lobby. The staff were welcoming and helpful, food good. - Friendly staff. Comfortable room (though a bit warm); the electric fan kept us cool enough during our stay.   Zeer aardig personeel, persoonlijk, behulpzaam. - We stayed three nights during half-term and they were the best nights sleep we had in our week away! Great beds, fabulous open fire, games and we even made a start on a jigsaw. Perfect base for walking, excellent pub across the road, thoughtful and helpful warden. - i have stayed in dufton youth ... wat mensen zeggen » hostel and have always found it to be excellent.the meals are very good and the warden could not be more helpfull.all in all a great place to be.
