  hostel absolutely fine, our accommodation perfect, however after checking in and unpacking we went back and packed up and went back to Krakow. this was because Katowice is a total building site. i am sure in a couple of years when the work is completed it will be a nice place to visit! and i would highly recommend the katowiche hostel, even with ... wat mensen zeggen » shared facilities, it is a credit to the owners. If you need an overnight stop or 2 this is the place to stay, clean, laundry facilties and modern, a - I was transiting through the city to Wroclaw and found this place to be very very central, right next to the main train and bus stations, so I hardly had to walk anything. Mostly clean and well-maintained, good staff, one of the better places I've stayed at recently.

  The hotel is located in 3 minutes walk from the central railway station. I took airport shuttle that stops on the station. Next day I walked to the station and got train to other city. Even if you have heavy lagguage it is enough to have about 20 minutes to get from the hotel to the platform you need by walk. The room was very cosy, it even had a... wat mensen zeggen » kitchen. If I had known the hotel would be so good I would have stayed at least one day longer. Recommend this place for any type of visitors! - discreet hotel hidden in a building near the railway station (main Katowice). Rooms and suites for families with children (fridge, sink). modest but tasty breakfast (home scrambled eggs, sausage, bread, etc.). Parking in the closed yard is an advantage. Reception is open until late and then gets the key to the front door. not far from St. Mary's street and restaurant area .
