  I had a great time at Riad d'Or. It was exactly the type of accommodation I was looking for: one representing the legendary Moroccan hospitality. This means for me good food, laid-back atmosphere, water presence, beautiful Arab decoration, smiling ladies and attentive gentlemen. They would go up from the reception till the roof - Tthe “Superior Quadruple Room” (the Pacha room if you are looking at the riad’s website) easily accommodated two married couples (one double bed and two twin beds that the staff had pushed together) in somewhat separated/private areas. The room also had a comfortable couch on which a short person or child could sleep. The common areas of this riad are among the most intricately, ornately, and opulently decorated (in a good way) of any in which I have stayed. Lots of hot water. Staff was friendl

  The pool is amazing. It is so nice to be able to escape the noise and the bustle at night and have a beer or a cocktail by this amazing secluded pool. Especially as a woman it was nice to have a place that was safe and assessible to have a drink! It's also nice to have a safe place to park a car. - Good location.   We had an excellent stay in this authentic place, located just in front of big dunes of Erg Chebbi. The hotel is located in Hassilabied village (4 km from Merzouga). I've found this village much more pleasant than Merzouga. There are less hustlers pushing you to take a camel trip, it is cleaner and more relaxing. The dunes are better than those ne... wat mensen zeggen » ar Merzouga too. You can walk from hotel to the big dunes by foot, takes around 15 minutes. The hotel is run by berber family, very nice and friendly. - Very clean. Ali has his won teints and camels for the desert that makes all very clean and calm. He has a Land Rover for a 4x4 in the desert. The best guide from all Morroco. At arriving is best to email whit Ali to wait at the Supratours station in Merzouga(better price then the taxi and more confortable)

  It's located in the centre of the souq and you do not expect to meet such a quite accomodation. The roof terrace is unbelievable. You have a perfect view on the medina and can enjoy the atmosphere. The Riad is about 400 years old and if you can have a look into the owners part. The stuff including the owner is very helpfull and friendly. - The ow... wat mensen zeggen » ner of this lovely Riad greeted us and gave us a tour of the historic home before settling us into our room. It was great to get a bit of history about the Riad. It has one of the best views of Meknes from the roof top terrace. We really enjoyed our stay!

  Auberge La Source is placed just in front of the big erg.Hassan´s family is very nice and the service is perfect. Breakfast and dinner were included and they were always big and very delicious. We stayed there only one night but we have many unforgetable memories - sunset in dessert with cammels and our perfect guide Mohamed (thanks a lot, Moha... wat mensen zeggen » med, it was really a beautiful experience). We can highly recommend this Auberge to other visitors. You will be very happy there. Ivana and Vladimir - La Source is located in the small village of Hassi Labied, a 15min drive from Merzouga and a short walking distance from the Great Dune of Erg Chebbi. The view is wonderful from their terrace. The auberge is clean and welcoming, brothers Omar and Said treated us as real friends and their sisters cooked the best tagines. We would love to go back to La Source and definitely recommend you to choose them.

  The staff were welcoming and friendly and were always ready to help. Nothing was too much trouble - a real 'family' feel to the hotel, although they have 10 rooms I think. The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated with a real eye for detail.   We stayed for one night. The location is great for an overnight stop between Merzouga and Fes. The Riad is not difficult to find - the are many signs along Midelt's main road showing the direction to the riad. We walked into the centre of town, which is about a 15 minute walk. The staff seems to constantly be cooking and baking. We ate dinner at the riad. T - The Riad provided a comfortable, convenient, most appealing place to stop for a night on the long drive from Fes to Ait ben Haddou. It's on the outskirts of the city, and delightfully quiet. We could sleep with the windows open, to feel a cool breeze off the nearby hills. The young woman who manages the Riad was courteous, welcoming, and most efficient. Note that the housekeeper has very limited English, but my high school French was sufficient to communicate easily with her. - It's located in the Medina, but not on the busy part of it.
