We had an excellent stay in this authentic place, located just in front of big dunes of Erg Chebbi. The Guest gouse is located in Tiharien village (4 km from Merzouga). I went on the 1 night Camel and it was fantastic!
First, Said was really great and responsive when booking the trip, which was a good sign. He let me know what to be aware of (faux guides, cheats, etc.) and took precaution to make sure that I would not be led astray by some very convincing crooks who descend upon the buses carrying tourists. Said would have someone meet me at the bus stop. Excellent.

Absolutely awesome trip to the desert! Everything was taken care off.

the dinner at the camp and the breakfast in the morning at the village.
The tents are very comfortable and the utilities are available. Our

it if it wasn't for some friendly locals. Food was delicous, the
best food we ate while traveling through Morocco. The staff are very
friendly and helpful they go out of their way to accommodate you. The

We loved our stay here, including the night in the desert they arranged for us. The staff was amazing and the family that owns the guesthouse was incredibly welcoming -- Hassan sat on the terrace with us for half an hour just to chat after we arrived. They're also working to preserve the dunes and keep dirtbikes and quads off them. Great people! W
