We had an excellent stay in this authentic place, located just in front
of big dunes of Erg Chebbi. The hotel is located in Hassilabied village
(4 km from Merzouga). I've found this village much more pleasant
than Merzouga. There are less hustlers pushing you to take a camel trip,

Merzouga too. You can walk from hotel to the big dunes by foot, takes
around 15 minutes. The hotel is run by berber family, very nice and
friendly. -
Very clean. Ali has his won teints and camels for the desert that makes all very clean and calm. He has a Land Rover for a 4x4 in the desert. The best guide from all Morroco. At arriving is best to email whit Ali to wait at the Supratours station in Merzouga(better price then the taxi and more confortable)

La Source is located in the small village of Hassi Labied, a 15min drive from Merzouga and a short walking distance from the Great Dune of Erg Chebbi. The view is wonderful from their terrace. The auberge is clean and welcoming, brothers Omar and Said treated us as real friends and their sisters cooked the best tagines. We would love to go back to La Source and definitely recommend you to choose them.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room and food were good. There is a lovely garden at the courtyard. You can have breakfast ( in the sun ) on the roof-terrace overlooking the sand-dunes, the oasis and the camels. In the evening you can enjoy the fabulous stars here.

Though we found the facilities quite basic, this riad delivered what we
came for. Ali, the owner, was very available, friendly and responsive to
our needs. We wanted to experience desert culture and because of him we
did. He took us to a village wedding which happened to be taking place

We were very well greeted by Ali and his staff. Ali quickly arranged
jeep and dromedary (no camels in Africa) trips for us. The room was
nicely decorated, Maroccan style. We had a wonderful evening meal under
the tent by the pool and all you can eat breakfast. Above all we got
what we came for, to see the desert, visit a different culture and meet
friendly people.

Chez Youssef was absoluut het beste verblijf dat we in Marokko hebben gehad. De sfeer is erg gemoedelijk en rustig en de inrichting is erg leuk en traditioneel. Alle voorzieningen zijn gewoon goed. Ontzettend vriendelijke eigenaar uissef. Niets was hem teveel. Hij koestert zijn
Hotelletje en is er apetrots op. Het is heel " lokaal" gelegen en op loopafstand van de kleine duinen. Je kunt bij hem ook naar een bivak in de duinen per kameel en 4 x4. Hij berekent dan niet de 2 e nacht verblijf. Het ontbijt is heel goed en het avondeten ook. De badkamer is eenvoudig, maar alles funktioneert. Geen alcohol!!
Prijs/kwaliteit meer dan goed.

We loved our stay here, including the night in the desert they arranged for us. The staff was amazing and the family that owns the guesthouse was incredibly welcoming -- Hassan sat on the terrace with us for half an hour just to chat after we arrived. They're also working to preserve the dunes and keep dirtbikes and quads off them. Great people! W

and pleasurable. The food is the best I've had in Morocco (and I
have been here for 2 months so far). The rooms are very spacious and

We really enjoyed the fantastic view and the delicious breakfast on the terrace. the rooms were clean, cozy and very stylish equipped. The service was absolutely perfect. The owners of Kasbah Azalay, Hamid, Mohamed (best moroccan driver!!!) and his brothers are doing an awesome job. Always in a good mood. We had a great camel trip and a 4x4 tour around the area.

helpful. This place is the best place to stay away from cities and crowd

airport transfer in Fez and taxi to Ouarzazate and recommended a riad in
Marrakesh and pick up at Marrakesh bus startion for free! So it's

Good location, right next to sand dunes. Hosts were very accommodating, Mohammed met us at the bus station and helped us with our baggage to hotel, and fed us dinner when we arrived.
We were looking to do sandboarding, the hotel helped arrange us a day trip for a reasonable price exactly as we wanted.
Breakfast on terrace was really nice.
