Everything - we visited the hotel to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The scenery and location was perfect. The hotel staff were fantastic throughout our stay ; the local food and wine were excellent. The best endorsement for the hotel is to say that we intend to return next year ; am looking forward to it already.

The hotel is run by a great family who made our holiday very special. Our room had a lovely sea view as did the breakfast balcony. On the occasions when we had an evening meal at the hotel the food was really good quality - plus the wonderful view. We have stayed in many hotels and this rates among the best. We are glad we picked this hotel! It's very scenic and has lots of character compared to many other hotels which tend to be a bit plain. Lemons grow in the garden and little lizards bathe in the sun. Owners are very nice and friendly. Location was good, there is a bus stop about 2 min walk from Casa Colomba. There are restaurants near by and a small market. Local buses stop there with lines Positano-Praino for 1.5 euro per person. Also SITA buses stop there as well. Parking is available at Casa Colomba which is a scare resource in this region.

There are 200 stairs to walk up, we managed as we are a young couple. There is a lift for luggage upon arrival/departure.

Owners delightful. Room big,bright,clean with a large deck,kitchenette and incredible views. Ready access to path of the gods. Nice to visit the bigger towns and then return to quieter Praiano at night.
Many many steps up to get to room from street level (220 give or take a couple). Great for countering the effects of excessive carb consumption!

Everything. What a fabulous hotel. Family-run so we were treated with the best of Italian hospitality. They couldn't do enough for us. Luigi even gave us the use of an iPad dock for the three days we were there so we could listen to music.
The rooms were great - really big and spotlessly clean. I think we had the best room in the house - on the second level at the end with a sea-view. I think room 306 so maybe ask for that when booking. It had a fantastic balcony with table and chairs and two
