  Maybe our favorite accommodation of the entire trip! Spectacular views were matched by the owners warmth and hospitality. We had no problem communicating even though she spoke very little English and we spoke very little Italian. Short walk to restaurants and attractions. - The one bedroom Appartment was right on the lake and had a big and lovely... wat mensen zeggen » Patio. The kids enjoyed collecting sea shells on the lake shore and had lot of fun in the pool. The parking was secure and free. we had a wonderful time overall.

  Hotel Ristorante San Carlo is located above Lake Maggiore with stunning views which extended to the Swiss/Italian alps. The lakeside towns were rustic and interesting although 'quiet' during our winter stay. The room was large and modern and all facilities worked well. We enjoyed our three nights in this wonderful hotel and felt safe and contented in the lee of Europe's tallest stat - We booked two rooms, a double for my husband and me and a single for our adult son. We had the amazing view of the lake which was so serene and our son's window was filled with the imposing figure of San Carlo. Wonderful! The place was immaculately clean, the staff very friendly and waited up for us to arrive at 11pm. There was a good range available for breakfast and the dinner menu offered local cuisine, rabbit pie, fish from the lake etc. All with that amazing view.

  This b&b is run by a lovely couple, very welcoming people, who gave us the feeling that we are at home. We rented two rooms, one for us and our 5 years old child, and one for our parents who shared another apartment with two of our kids. The rooms as well as the whole house are very nicely decorated. We definitely will come again, next time for a - The welcome from the lovely couple was fabulous, as was the breakfast. The rooms were great - though we were a little frustrated with no internet in the rooms - mind you it does promote only internet in public places. The views from the balconies wonderful. Parking tight but good to be available.

  Brilliant location. could have stayed longer time permitting. Made our small dog very welcome, although he was cruising for a dogbo (doggie ASBO). Excellent family run hotel - Fantastic reception staff, very friendly. Good meals but not gourmet. Top relaxing spot by the lake. Shot drive to Stresa.

  From the moment we walked in the door the man on the desk was friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. The foyer area is clean, modern and well designed. We'd booked a lake view room well worth the additional charge, a beautiful way to wake up in the morning. The rooms are well designed, a comfortable huge bed with luxury sheeting. A glamoro... wat mensen zeggen » us tiled bathroom with a high quality shower, up market soaps and large fluffy towels. The buffet breakfast from 7am - 11am. Was the best I've ever ex - It is a true 4-star hotel with all the necessary comforts. It is right on the lake with its own beach and beach towels. Excellent breakfasts - with fruit, juices, cakes, cheeses, hot plates, etc. Very clean and quiet. But its best feature is the people who work in the Bel Sit and are always eager to help you, to answer all your questions, give you a piece of advice, make great Cappuccino (thanks again). If, or when, I go again to Lago Maggiore, I will definitely stay only in the Bel Sit.
