  We arrived into Lucca about 5:30 pm, though the entrance door was locked, we received one email from the owner about how to enter the building many days before arriving. We parked in the B&B private car park (outside the B&B there are many free parking space too.) The room key, bike key, Lucca map, information about the B&B and even they marked good restaurants on the m - The owners were friendly and very accomodating. They recommended local restaurants and made reservations on our behalf for the restaurant and a taxi. The location is great, just 2 blocks from the walled city so it was convenient for us walk or bicycle to the walled city. The complementary bicycles were a great plus. There was also an area to park our car. The car dealer return was conveniently located only 3 blocks from the B&B. The main bedroom room was large and we had a private cove

  We loved the fact that is was an older Villa, just outside of the city center. Very Charming with a wonderful selection of breakfast items. A bit worn around the edges, but with a lot of character and charm. Large warm pool in a big, lush garden setting. Option to eat outdoors at each meal which we did. The room was a good size, excellent bed and the bathroom was modern with a nice bath. The oublic areas, bar and lounges were inviting and the staff were vey attentive. Overall it was fantastic.

The owners are friendly and courteous and always willing to help with directions and any other questions you may have.   Casa Biancalana is echt een paradijsje in Lucca. Het is een schitterend autenthiek pand. Zeer sfeervol en romantisch ingericht. Het ontbijt in de tuin was fantastisch. Door de familie werden we werkelijk in de watten gelegd. Ze deden er alles voor om het ons naar de zin te maken. Het is was er heerlijk vertoeven. - Very friendly staff

The owner is very helpful and friendly, and it was great to have use of the free bikes.
