  Location from the train station (6 blocks) and the Metro (2 blocks) were ideal. Rooms were very clean and a nice size, as were the bathrooms - not at all cramped. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The basic breakfast was filling – three different fresh baked goods daily, juice, coffee or tea plus additional packaged biscuits and jam. This was a great plus! - The staff at the hotel were very friendly and they also give us safety advice during our stay in Rome. Love the breakfast.   What an amazing hotel! Very friendly owner who was knowledgeable and helpful. Although the area was a little rough around the edges, it was always pretty busy and as 2 girls travelling together, always felt safe. Also, there is a huge door on the street which once you were inside made you feel extra secure, so would recommend highly to any females... wat mensen zeggen » travelling either alone or as a group. Really comfortable beds, we had the best view of outside as we were on the corner. Excellent aircon which was - Although it is said that this part of Rome is not so safe, the location of the hotel was perfect. Not for one moment we felt unsafe. It's a 15 minute walk to the ancient centre of Rome and Termini station. Metro station, right under the hotel. Friendly staff, spacious and very clean room. Good typical Italian breakfast, deliverd to your room.

  Hotel Mecenate Palace is centraal gelegen, op wandelafstand van vele bezienswaardigheden (Trevi Fontein, Spaanse Trappen, Colloseum enz.). Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook leuk was dat we konden ontbijten op het dakterras, keuze overdekt of buiten, met zicht op Rome! Buitengewoon! Vanuit onze kamer hadden we zicht op de Sante M... wat mensen zeggen » aria Maggiore, één van de mooiste kerken van Rome! - Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. De kamer met uitzicht op de Santa Maria Maggiore was fantastisch! De kamer werd elke dag heel goed schoongemaakt. Het ontbijt was heerlijk, alles werd steeds weer opnieuw aangevuld.Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van stazione termini en alle bezienswaardigheden. Dit hotel is een aanrader!!

  Thank you Fabio for the wonderful stay. We stayed at Be First for 4 wonderful days. The BnB is very clean and spacious, there is even a computer in the common area with a printer and books to refer to which we thought was very thoughtful and helpful.The BnB is on a quiet street near the termini. The breakfast at the cafe r - We were recommended by a colleague at work that the "Be First B&B" was the ideal place to book for a citytrip to Rome, and I will certainly recommend it to all our friends when they plan visiting Rome. The hotel is situated close to the Termini station, so there is no need to take a taxi. The lobby with the free-to-use pc + printer is very handy to book your return flight and print out your boarding passes. In the rooms there is free wifi and a mini refrigerator.   Its clean, starting from the gate, the elevator, the corridor of the guesthouse and the room. It's cozy. It gave us a homey feeling. I didnt meet Victoria as she was in the hospital but her son Leandro accommodated us well. He gave a free map and suggested the best time and routes to visit places. From termini it is not so far and we easily located it. I dont know w - Victoria is very nice owner. Room was clean, bedding also, what is very important to me. Rooms are without breakfast. But you get coffee and tea if you like in the rooms. Location is near station Termini. We had to leave town in 4:30 A.M. So it was quit and safe street to get to station.
