  The staff were extremely helpful and sympathetic. We had a small problem with a key, and they were eager to sort it out very quickly. The rooms are airy and comfortable (we stayed in 2 different ones on separate nights), and we were given a quiet one at the back when we asked for one. All in all, a very good place to stay, especially as it is w - Very central, 2 mins away from piazza Duomo and Via Etnea and 5 mins away from the market. Less than 10 mins from the port. It has a private parking shared with the rest of the gated community which seemed to be safe. The guesthouse has a lift as well and it was very good considering the cheap price we payed. Wifi was also available, italian breakfast in room and with a balcony for the street view. Very worth it if you're not looking for luxury but the basics you need

  Location !!!! At the arrival not so sure about this place. Once we met the owner (Manuela) it became "the peaceful oasis". Food/advice/information = ONLY the best from Manuela! AND "NO MOSQUITOS" !!! Free WiFi - Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast with some delicious homemade food. Would recommend to others and also return again here.   Great location in the city, near to the Cathedral, the shopping street and lots of good places to eat. Not far from the bus to the airport but the taxi is only 20 Euro and is just a 15 minute ride (bus #437 will take you to and from a stop near the Duomo but then about another 10 min. Walk). After 11 pm, totally quiet. Safe and secure - What we like the most was the excellent customer service provided by Giuseppe. He was willing to help and always with a smile. He gave us recommendations of Catania. The room was just excellent, very comfortable. The breakfast so good and the location close to the tourist information office, The Duomo, Via Etna and most of the interesting places in town. Bravo Giuseppe !!!!!

  Prima start en eindpunt van mijn vakantie. Helemaal top dit hotel. - Het hotel is voor zijn 3sterren luxueus en proper tot in de kleinste hoekjes. Het ontbijt is ruimschoots voldoende en uitgebreid. Het personeel is zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk en spreekt zeer goed Engels en zelfs Frans. Het enige minpunt is, de douchecel is klein voor mij omdat... wat mensen zeggen » ik nogal wat omvang heb. Tijdens mijn 9 dagen verblijft heb ik mij nergens in geergerd. Het is een aanrader.

  The staff was very friendly and efficient and the place was very clean. The location was very good and central to all the main sites in Catania.   Our stay at B&B al Teatro Massimo was faultless! Our host Serge was extremely helpful, charming and informative. We were given the perfect balance of attention and privacy. The breakfast was perfectly presented, wholesome and varied. Serge was also indespensible to all our requirements. In essence our host completed his ta - A perfect place for staying overnight in Catania city, very close to the bar/restaurant streets and 5-10 minutes walk to the main shopping streets. House and room is very nice and big, in traditional old baroque style with calssic old furnitures and pictures - so feeling is very special - in a positive way. Contact Person is very nice and friendly and helps out for questions about the city and seightseeing! Defenitely can recommend this B&B!!!
