The breakfast in the morning is another highlight. - We had a wonderful stay at Kalmar Pensio. It is a beautiful 120 year old mansion comverted into a Pension in an excellent location. It is very near the Chain Bridge in Budapest, right behind the Gellert Baths and so easily accessible to all major sightseeing venues yet in a residential area. The Manager, Ester made us very welcome and was very informative and helpful. We had a huge room with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and a huge bathroom! What more could you ask for?!

  Wonderful Place! I noticed that they take all the review comments seriously and make immediate improvements. Some one commented that there was no soap in the bathroom. We we checked in there was so they took this customers response seriously. It is an apartment and not a hotel so you feel so much at home. I wanted to stay for few more days. I would certai - Aparment on Raday street is right in the centre, perfectly walkable to all sights and atractions. It has own fully equipped kitchen with couple of glasses. mugs. plates, pots, pans, cutlerry, microwave, kettle etc. Next room has two tables, tv, sofa. There is also great mezzanine with a double bed. Remember, there is no reception, you get your own keys and it feels like having own flat in the centre of Budapest :) Wifi is also works well.   Good location, in the middle of VIII district, just a short walk from underground (Blaha Lujza ter or Kalvin ter), restaurants, cafes. There is a small supermarket opposite the hotel which is open till 10 p.m. Very nice breakfast, delicious coffee, very helpful and hospitable staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Budapest. - Loved this small, thoughtfully decorated hotel. Small, intimate and lots of attention to detail. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Went out of their way to help us with visiting sites, getting taxis, etc. Very reasonably priced, good location. We missed our connection to Budapest because of weather and thus forfeited a night we had paid for at the Beletage, but the hotel let us have a free night on our return! We were impressed - thank you!

Bathroom has two showers and two basins. Ignore the nonsense elsewhere abou no locking doors, perfectly obvious that showers are in use when shower door and curtain shut. Kitchen has cooker, microwave, free tea and coffee, percolator, everything you need. Fridge and freezer for guests. Wi-Fi and pc for guest use, no charge.TV In room.

  Eitan was very nice and helpfull for a good price. We had the 4 person room. It was better then our expectations. Top location very close to the night life. I can recommend this hotel to everybody. - Very nice staff, the location and the price! Although in the center of the city, it is quiet and we have a very sweat sleep!   I simply loved this hotel. The innkeeper Victor is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located just a couple of minutes away from Fishermans Bastion - a beautiful Place where you can sit in the evening with a fantastic view, a glass of Tokajer and a live-band playing violin-Music. SO IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WITH HEART, LUNGS OR - This place is great! The owner, Viktor, is a very nice guy and was extremely helpful. We arrived late in the evening and he arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport. The Budavar Pension is clean, quiet and is in an excellent location, very close to the Fisherman's Bastion, Buda Castle and is only a 5 to 10 minute walk from the Chain Bridge. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
