  The owners were very friendly and accommodating - nothing was too much trouble. The studio was very well equipped and clean with fresh linen and towels provided regularly. It was very peacefully situated on the edge of the village with no night-time noise and a sunny balcony which was the perfect spot to relax in the early evening sunshine. There ... wat mensen zeggen » is a choice of excellent bars and restaurants nearby and it is perfect for visiting the Samaria Gorge - a bus runs 3 times a week from Sougia to the t - We loved staying at the Idomeneas Apartments in Sougia. The young lady who checked us in was very pleasant and accomodating. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The room was kept very clean and we had a great terrace. We did not want to leave! I would deffinetly recommend Idomeneas Apartments to others and I hope we can return ourselves one day. Thank you!

  We stayed ten days at Galinis and developed a kind of home away from home feeling over the days. This is thanks to the lovely managers of the hotel, Vasile and Danielle who were always there to help you and to answer any questions. The clean and confortable facilities in combination with the hospitality of our hosts made our holiday a special expe... wat mensen zeggen » rience and we have no hesitation recommending Galini to others. - The room was decorated really cute and appeared to be recently renovated. The balcony was pleasant with nice furniture and vines. We also like the sliding doors to the balcony and the shutter option. The owner and his wife were friendly and we were delighted to get fresh squeezed orange juice in the morning. We were on the edge of town and enjoyed the walk through town to the beach.

  Wonderful stay a the hotel... Our room/appartment (with sea-view) is fine and big enough for 3 people with lots of windows and two balconies! The main sleeping-room is big. Only the bathroom is perhaps a little bit small... but hey! we don't want to live in our rooms, we just want to rest there during the night! So this is not such a big deal as i... wat mensen zeggen » t seems. The hotel is situated at the beginning of the village (1-2 minutes from the center / beach). For us (as trekkers) it was an ideal place: ever - This is the place to stay at Sougia. Big comfortable room, ultra clean is what we needed for a 2 days stay to hike down the gorges. Hotel owner Markos did more than the expected making all arrangements for our hiking trip which is much appreciated and definitely something most people need when going to hike in the surrounding gorges of Samaria and Agia Irini.

  Irene is a really nice woman. The room was simple but clean and functional. Very recommendable overall and specially if you are looking for a peaceful place (Sougia) and planning to go to Samaria´s gorge. - The owners were really really nice and friendly and most of the time available. It was clean and totally okay for a few days there …

  We loved Santa Irene, perfect location right on the beach with a lovely beach bar out front serving good food. Hotel is quite new and very clean and the courtyard garden is planted with night scented flowers. Family run and friendly. Also quiet at night.   We liked our stay at Aretousa a lot - Mirko and Dara, who were taking care of the guests, were great! The accomodation is all you need for a beach vacation - clean beds, balcony, kitchenette facilities..It is approx. 3-5 mins walk from the long sandy beach and the area is very quiet.
