The location of the hotel, which is right beside Check Point Charley, and represents a perfect starting point for an historical and cultural sightseeing! Moreover, the confort of the room: my wife and I had read several negative reports about a supposed "glass wall" in the room, between the toilette and the bedroom, but that turned out in-existent. Maybe the problem had been satisfactorily solved!

Excellent location, within walking distance of many places of interest. Stasi exhibition, Topography of Terror, Checkpoint Charlie, all in the immediate vicinity. Can walk to Brandenburg Gate/Unter Den Linden which we did with 2 young children and kids Grandmother. Stadmitte U Bahn also very close. We only had breakfast on the last day in the hote

Clean, comfy beds, quiet location but only minutes away from fantastic Christamas market at Gendarme Market.
Good mix of clientel young, kids, mature, business etc. Checkpoint Charlie about 200yds away. Amazing chocolate shop around corner.
Staff were friendly and always helpful.
The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had, great choice. Healthy fruit and cereals to bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs. Ham, cheeses croissants, smoked salmon, toast, cakes etc. etc. Great location. Lisa helped

Toen we aankwamen vertelden ze ons dat het hotel overboekt was, maar ze
hadden al een ander hotel voor ons geregeld op 5 min afstand en daar
konden we de eerste nacht verblijven. De taxi was twee maal op hun
kosten. De volgende ochtend kwamen we terug in Scandic en kregen we een
upgrade van de kamer met minibar en ontbijt inclusief. Netjes geregel

Op de kamer lag ook nog een handgeschreven excuusbrief en een mandje met
fruit. Het personeel was erg behulpzaam en aardig. -
Ruime geluidarme kamers met comfortabele bedden. Zeer centraal gelegen nabij Potzdammer Platz en openbaar vervoer (U-Bahn en S-Bahn). Openbare parking (Gleisdreieck) in de buurt (veel goedkoper dan in hotel; 10 euro per dag).Ontbijt zeer uitgebreid maar ook zeer duur (20 euro)

I was actually amazed by the hotel. I hadn't expected this standard at all. The bathroom was just beautiful! And I have a particular bee in my bonnet about hotel bathrooms. We chose this hotel both for location and price for a long, Xmas market weekend. On arrival, we were informed that our room rate (c€75/night) was inclusive of breakfast, soft drinks and hot drinks, which was a real bonus. Breakfast selection is fabulous, ranging from the usual cold buffet, cereals etc but also omelets made to order, bacon, sausages etc. Location is ideal for sightseeing by foot - Gestapo HQ, Berlin Wall etc only 10 minutes away, but of course you can also hop on/hop off the sig

The apartment was great! We were a group of 9 girls in our late 20s & there was plenty of room for us all. Only 2 bathrooms so was hectic when all trying to shower but we made it work!

Great location near the underground, close by to supermarkets and good cafes and checkpoint charlie.
Very spacious and comfortable, bedrooms downstairs gave us freedom to enjoy ourselves in lounge without worrying our footsteps would be making noise for neighbours. Balcony as well and a very quiet area, no problems sleeping at all.
Would definitely stay again.

's-Morgens om 9.00 uur aankomst in het hotel. Bagage kon kostenloos in het bagadepot en voor € 9,00 pp konden we gebruik maken van het prima ontbijt.
