  The location was excellent. The beach is around the corner and there's a grocery store, bakery, and amazing (expensive, though) restaurant just a block away. Our teen children loved the pool and the beach is beautiful. On-site parking is secure and free. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It had two bedrooms and kitchen / liv room combo plus fridge , microwave , coffee pot and dishes /pots and pans/ deck with chairs/table. very nice.   The fact the accommodation is literally a stones throw from Gold beach. Very thought provoking area, all D-day memorial sights are close by and kept beautiful and very busy. It's nice to see our heroes will never be forgotten. The lady at the apartments was lovely as well as the other guest. My only small negative would be the Wifi is only availab... wat mensen zeggen » le in the reception and is very slow - Charming stay, nice residence and very well equipped apartment. Good location for those who want to visit the DD landing beaches. The sea is just few metres and we also have enjoyed the beautiful weather. Staff is very attentive and well informed on the activities. We will be back!

  It consists of 3 buildings on the same lot, and we stayed in the modern style building in an apartment named "Les Pieds dans l'eau." You can google their website to see floor plans and better descriptions of their apartments. Check-in is at Ferme de la Ranconniere a few km away. This apartment and the area is so beautiful we immediately extended our stay. It can sleep 5, though we are - Beach front location on Gold Beach, right next to Arromanches was great. Also, this is a good location for exploring D-Day Normandy beaches and sights, Bayeux and doing land sailing on the beach. There are two buildings at the location, one more contemporary, the other a yellow vertical one, on the left when walking up from the beach. The contemporary one seems much nicer, with a lawn area and chaises for relaxing between it and the boardwalk. Try to book the contemporary one. For a great dinn

  The situation where the hotel is is really great so close to the sea and it has a carparking also behind the hotel for a few cars. My father and I we had two rooms with oceanview, wonderful! The rooms where big, cleaning good each day and if you ask then it has rooms on the first or second floor like we had.   It was a delightful 5 night stay at a good price. Quaint village and beautiful hotel in quiet garden setting. Nice room though 3 stories of stairs to climb. Host and hostess were wonderful and so helpful though limited in English. Breakfast was delicious each morning and so enjoyable. Would stay there again! - This was a great B&B. Ryes is a very small country town in Normandy but it is central to all the D-Day sights (most are within 1 hour drive) and you can go to a nearby town on Gold Beach for great restaurants by the sea. The owner is very friendly and the rooms are well appointed.

I want to come back to this hotel one day....Arromanches os a place full of history and with a particular atmosphere!
