We loved the marvellous staff who were fun and very helpful. The hotel was attractive and stylishly decorated and the room was charming. We booked at the last moment in a hurry... we didn't check the reviews or anything we just went for it. Driving there we went up the wrong road and our hearts dropped thinking it was going to be a crummy place based on the lay of the land.
