The price was super cheap, the service and amenities were far beyond the price! I was very impressed with the hotel and staff. There were several English speaking employees which was very helpful. The hotel is situated in a very nice are, within walking distance to the Square and Forbidden City. -

The staff do their best to make you feel good. They are always smiling and they spare no effort to serve well. Most of them we meet speak English and those who don't will try their best. The rooms were amazing spacious and with a very tasteful decoration. The charges were fare.

It's clean, the room is spacious, the staff are helpful (although they had a hard time speaking in English which seems to be the norm in Beijing).
The location (depending on your fitness, it's around 20-30 mins walk to Forbidden City and about 5-10 mins walk to Qianmen St. Market and I guess, 10-20 mins to the Temple of Heaven)

Very close to Forbidden city, Behai park,Tiananmen and to the shopping street Wangfujing Dajie. We book a Grand wall, Ming tumbs and Olympic park trip at the hotel that was okay. Clean, comfortable, nice little 'cute' gestures from the staff (cookies every evening at around 18:00 o'clock, morning Enligsh newspaper China Daily to your door, free minibar restocked every day). The staff were extremely helpful, especially front desk manager Thomas and Murphy in guest relations. They really helped us get along in a city where very few individuals speak English. Ambiance was very nice in lobby and pool. The food in their restaurants was expensive but very tasty - worth the money. -
