  We were here several times before - then for canoeing on the Thaya - and time and again a pleasant place to be, right on the Thaya, with a beautiful view on the Castle. And that is a very nice corner of Austria (the Waldviertel), not much known to foreign tourists. The owner is quite enterprising and has extended and renovated, not only the hotel ... wat mensen zeggen » but also the canoeing facilities. Too bad the restaurant was closed the day we were there.
