  This is our 2nd time in Gasthof am Riedl. We enjoyed the friendliness and comfortable atmosphere, and a sense of feeling local. - I booked the trip last minute and arrived there to find that they didn't get my reservation, but found me a room anyways!

  The pension is in a very nice quiet out of town location, with a convenient bus stop for the short bus ride to the city. It was pretty much as expected from other reviews, I.E. clean and comfortable with all the facilities we needed, including a nice breakfast. I don't suppose you can eat out within easy walking distance, but we planned to spend o... wat mensen zeggen » ur time in Salzburg anyway. We used the free on site parking and took the bus both days of our stay. The lady who owns the Pension was very hospitable - The place is so nice. Surounded by mointains and you can hear the river running while you sleep. Me room was beautiful. The girl in charge was really nice. The breakfast you wouldn't belive... 17 kind of cereals, diferent cheeses, fruits, real coffee and more! The bus to the city runs often and it takes 10 min to get to there. You can hike near by and they lend you sticks and umbrellas.

  Het appartement was zeer ruim en proper. Vanaf het balkon had je een mooi uitzicht op de bergen. Het is goed gelegen voor bezoeken aan Salzburg of wandelingen in de bergen. De eigenares stond steeds klaar indien we vragen hadden.

  Very clean, comfortable and spacious room. Charming setting with tree lined driveway and a rustic atmosphere throughout the hotel. The food was superb, breakfast had a wide assortment of typical German / Austrian foods. Our evening coffee and dessert was fantastic. Some may be concerned because it is outside of town but we found that to be an adva - Perfect location - not too far from Salzburg and still outside so you can enjoy a romantic holiday outside the city, but close enough to have a romantic walk in the city centre. Nice hotel, high quality rooms and equipment, nice and helpful personnel.. Looking forward to come back again :)

  The scenery was beautiful and serene. It was nice to be in the countryside with a fantastic view of the mountains. The room was very modern and clean. The service from the front desk was very good.   Forested hill location overlooking Salzburg (not from the apartment). Good service from the owner/family. Apartment was large and reasonably well appointed, with pots/pans on request. Restaurant dinner meals were excellent and good value ( we did not have breakfast). Wifi was adequate. - Fantastic location, great service, rooms very spacious.... wat mensen zeggen » The food was great too. Staff made you very welcome and would recommend this to all travellers, it would have been great for a longer stay. If I am ever back this way I would make sure I stayed there again.
