  As I have trouble negotiating stairs, I was impressed to find a lift in this motel. There was plenty of undercover parking, and I found a spot directly in front of reception and the lift. The staff were extremely helpful and obbliging, and assisted me in making phonecalls to sort out a problem with my credit card on arrival. Unfortunately I - Upon arrival, the staff were friendly and helpful. This was booked as a one night stop over between the sunshine coast and sydney, however, after a night in the Mid-Pacific motel we would have actually liked to stay for a while in Port Macquarie for a couple of days longer. The rooms were really well presented, clean, fresh and welcoming. My fiance and I booked the executive room and were surprised at the quality of the room for the low cost. We will be returning and making this a frequent stop

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Everything we needed (and more!) was provided and we enjoyed the views from the two balconies. The restaurant downstairs was fantastic too. We arrived very late and were grateful that the man peered out his unit to direct us to a good parking spot as we had a high load and couldn't fit under the parking lot.   We are a family of two younger children and two teenagers so quite hard to please but we all enjoyed our stay at the Ki-Ea Apartments. Very spacious and clean accommodation and balconies. Well equipped kitchen and parents area away from childrens which was nice. We only had contact with 1 staff member in our brief stay, but she was very helpful, as were staff I spoke to on the phone.

  The Shelly Beach was perfect. A lovely townhouse which was presented in a spotless condition with well appointed facilities. The washing machine and dryer was much appreciated. My family and I were unfortunate to stay in one of Australia's worst Motor Inns, see for a Few Dollars More we stayed in the complete opposite at Best Western..   We really loved the room 808 it was very clean, comfortable and had a well set up kitchen and of course for the magnificent views. We enjoyed the breakfast (included in our tariff). Friendly and helpful staff. Even having the BBQ cleaned before we had time to do it.   The view as we stayed in a 2 bedroom oceanfront apartment on level 6 and they had bay windows(from floor to ceiling) that slides across to open all the way and the apartment was very spacious. You can also hire bikes for $10 half a day and children under 18 are free. That was great. We love the location, great ocean views, helpful staff, pool, cleanliness, comfort, close proximity to good restaurants - just the best place for a winter break - but we'll be back in summer as well!
