I loved every second of being there but the best thing about my time up at the Q1 was a certain staff member. Kevin he made me feel welcome from the moment I checked and was great and really friendly, and he gave me the best service and I went back down to the lobby after I had a swim and just got to talk with him. He is the reason I will definitely going back and recommending the Q1 to my friends. But all the staff were really great and the pool was awesome to.

I liked the positivity from the staff. I liked the security and privacy that the rooms and the apartment itself has.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, had good deals at the front counter for breakfast, theme parks and day spas. Had shops that were close by to access e.g convenient store, cafe etc.

The room was beautiful and the view was great from the 10th floor.

When we went to confirm our booking via phone the lady said she was busy and couldn't talk, then would only communicate via text message and said she could not find our booking (we booked through letsbookhotel.com). We found this very unprofessional. Also, the parking arrangement was a bit vague, but we found somewhere to park eventually.

Very friendly and helpful Staff. Pools were great, love the location, so close to other restaurants and the beach. Would definitely come back again and stay a bit longer.

The room was really nice

The staff at the front desk could of been more interested in helping people. Some were nice, some were uninterested

Very spacious and well maintained. Reception staff were extremely helpful and went beyond expectations to rectify problems that were not of their making such as delayed shuttle buses etc and ensuring that our stay was a hassle free as possible. No doubt we would stay there again

The facilities are fantastic and we had a one bedroom spa and found it very spacious.

Great service and friendly staff

Random appearance by plumbers to fix a leaky sink - should have been done before we had checked in. This didn't diminish the stay though!

Clean, comfortable, and everything was perfect. Views were amazing from the restaurant. Definitely stay there again.

The lounge chairs in our apartment were not comfortable. The ironing board was dodgy.

Staff were very pleasant, made my partner and I feel most welcome. It was a spur of the moment decision to stay there but once again the staff were only to happy to accommodate us. Nicest hotel I've ever been in...was an absolute pleasure to stay in.......

All of the staff were helpful and really friendly - always willing to help with any request! Apartment was spacious clean modern and the views amazing!

The resort is a non smoking resort - unable to smoke on your balcony at all - had to go down in the lifts to the ground floor

Q1 is amazing! I loved the activities that we could do (skyclimb, observation deck - breakfast lunch and dinner!) everyone was so friendly and welcoming! I would definitely come back! Not mention our view from level 53 was SUPERB! Words cannot even describe! Thank you, to all the staff for making us feel at home:)

The only issue i had was our lift pass wouldn't work to go up to our level. They had to restore it 5 times, i did count lol. Also it was our first time staying at q1 and coming up from basement two, we accidentally got the service lift (we did follow the signs) and one of the workers was really rude to us. We did let reception know and they did everything they could to make it better, so thank you!

The three bedroom apartment was set out beautifully and certainly had the 'wow' factor. We liked the pool facilities and loved the day spa. The views were awesome.

For a resort of this quality the apartment cleanliness and finishings were poor. Dirt under the glass on the table, and general cleanliness was not great.

Apartment size was great for a place to relax and unwind. And have nice space living felt very roomy.

wifi wasn't free. bought wifi for 24 hrs, internet went down for half my stay which was inconvenient. I like to cook when Im away thats why I booked an Apartment, the Pans were old, burnt and terrible. And werent even non stick. Made cooking almost impossible. Even if you had non stick pans, even the amateurs wouldnt burn the pans like the ones I had to use.

The pool was a bit cold, but the beach made up for that. The apartment could have been better equipped, one pot, one frypan and not enough cutlery are my only faults.

The size of the 2 bedroom apartment was fantastic - huge! Fitout was modern and appealing. Large pool area with attached cafe/bar was excellent. Great location adjacent to beach and restaurants/shopping.

The hairdryer latched on to a piece of my hair and I had to cut it out. I told reception and they said maintenance would check it but nothing happened. I didn't use the hairdryer again!

Excellent location & views along Surfer's Paradise beach Large windows that appeared dirty but when I realised they opened provided excellent views & air comfort. Lovely swimming pool & surrounds. Room amenities were v good

Looking straight into Peninsular hotel rooms & vice versa. Only realised solarium windows opened on the last day Very bright with sun coming past blinds first thing in a.m. Bathroom floor was slippery

The room was beautiful, very spacious with every appliance needed.

Our shower was lovely but despite closing door fully evry time, we were always mopping up a puddle of water outside shower afterwards.

I enjoyed the entire Q1 experience, staff, facilities, location, apartment.

I was slightly disappointed with the condition of the apartments soft furnishings and furniture. Quite dated and very used...spill marks on cushions, fraying fabric on same. Patchy, worn furniture and the enclosed balcony was sparingly furnished with just a day bed and the cover on that was dirty and marked. I wont be returning, and so i am glad that the price i paid was a special!!!! This of course led me to think if there were special rate rooms and also the full price rooms.

The price deal was excellent . We like the room upon level 32. The view is awesome. We enjoyed swimming pool spa& gym.

The room is too big. My partner left me alone. I was scared.

I only had a couple of days there, but really enjoyed the short distance to the beach, the many dining areas. I enjoyed the experience of the lookout from the tower.

No one checked the booking notes, in which I requested a double bed in each room.

Gold Coast very tired! Been 10yrs since visited and everything needs a paint. Q1 excellent but breakfast at viewing area needs more variety and overpriced for what you get.

Apartment had not been service properly.Tea and coffee had not been replenished. Only had coffee mug and no tea towel,dish cloth and dishwashing liquid& powder. Had to ask 3 times to get this rectified.
