Staff were very attentive and helpful. Rooms are in the process of being upgraded. The one we were in had a new bathroom and the manager informed us that the bedrooms are being refurnished and updated as an ongoing project. Only stayed one night as we were just passing through. The room was small with no cooking or breakfast facilities, but for a single night it was adequate. Location, location, location, being able to walk out the door and onto the beach. Basic, comfortable, budget friendly, excellent staff, friendly and only too happy to provide you with your needs. Close to airport, store, cafe, etc Would have enjoyed a longer stay. Thank you, hope to see you all again.
alle beoordelingen » I was given a very generous upgrade and spent the night in a newly decorated modern, spacious and fully equipped suite. The spectacular ocean view was a major feature and it was lovely going to sleep at night with the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. We liked the fact that the beach was at our doorstep and the pool in arms reach.Staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us and the fact that where ever we went all we had to do was get on the highway and 20-30 minutes you were there. The staff were exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. The beachfront room walked straight out to a cabana on the beach, magnificent.Walking distance to everything we needed. Staff were lovely, rooms amazing for price! Beautiful view from beach view room! Very impressed.... We actual rebooked to stay at this motel the day we left. Room was clean and nicely appointed. Great location right near the beach and the Gold Coast airport which was way I booked. Also good value for money. The location was perfect and the staff very helpful. I would recommend this place to my friends, particularly the beachfront studio. very convenient to the airport which was our reason for staying. Right on the beach which was another plus. The young lady that checked me in was very helpful and freindly. Also the room I stayed in was immaculate. room was newly renovated, had A nice fresh quality about it location for airport & hospital perfect. Walk to shops for a variety of meals and shopping, easy bus route to other centres. A treat to be only 5 minutes to the airport as this meant a more enjoyable breakfast! . extremely clean, room felt new. Maybe a few more coffee & milk satchets.. it is close to the beach which can closely see the sunrise. Close to bus stop for access to Brisbane and all Gold Coast. Large unit, nicely renovated, we stayed in a 2 bedroom apt. Great position, right on beach. Location to airport. Beach at door step. Location. clean. How close it was to the beach. The relief mangers seemed friendly enough. Sheets clean. bed mattress good , helpful staff . Nothing. No proper cooking facilities as I think the stove in the unit is too dangerous when you have young children.It would be more useful and safer to have a toaster,electric frying pan and a microwave as those are the things you use most when on holidays. Fly screen on window was not fixed on one corner, hot water took a long time to come through the taps, but not things to put off booking a room. Unexpected visitor in the kitchen cabinet, but I suppose that being on the first floor and right on the beach, insects are to be expected. As a smoker I wasn't aware of where the allocated smoking areas were. noisy but you have to expect that being so close to the airport. The upstairs rooms seem a bit cosier than the downstairs ones. For the price it was excellent. Everything is in slight disrepair but that is to be expected at that price. Toilet had been used by someone prior to us entering room. Not nice to walk into. Room was unlocked when we arrived, so I guess anyone could have walked in and used the toilet. We left early the next morning before reception was open so we did not report it. no controller for the A/C - not a problem because it was raining and cooling wasn't needed. My stay was not long enough. the stairs.....prefer ground floor. noise of airplanes as is right across from airport, but the location is why we chose it. A bit old , cigarette buts everywhere outside. bright outside lighting during the night. Adequate for one night. We arrived late at night, got the key from the key safe - which was all OK. but the light bulb wasnt working in the bathroom. We had to leave for the airport very early. So our entire use of the bathroom, including shaving etc, was in the dark!. just feel like put to the side but it was nice. Beds on roller wheels, without locks, on tiled floor. Bed rolled and I had a heavy bruising head bang fall. Occupational Health and public liability insurer at least in nsw would not be amused. If in usa, I would sue. Really dangerous. No bathroom soap provided.No lights on at night. Key provided in the safe did not fit the door lock - had to call out the unhappy caretaker at midnight. shockingly tiny room - I booked a room for 4 & got 2 twins pushed together with a fold up camp bed - barely enough room to move around them. Small rooms. Noisy people next door ( not the motels fault). Had to go upstairs with our luggage. The hot water took 2 minutes to get hot. Very noisy as it is close to the airport. Expensive for what you get. No microwave or cooking facilities. Not so clean (Though bed and toilet were clean). Needs a little TLC on room maintenance (TV didn't work). Needs a bit of tidying up outside. Maybe a lot more street appeal. Dont think reception area that adequate. Cafe needs a damn good tidy up, not professional looking. A rundown by reception of services and cafe would be nice. Would have had breakfast there, but as a chef myself, it looked a bit tired and staff may have been too busy to bother, considering she appeared to also be a cleaner. Sorry.Just these little things needed a bit of fine tuning. The location is far to city. Poor conditions in motel room. Broken smoke detector, poor lighting control, no towel rails, very basic room. Problems with breakfast -. Toilet had to be fixed on arrivel, could have been cleaner. Undergoing renovation, lack of privacy, poor breakfast capability. The room was outdated. Rooms need to be modernized, maybe more selfcontained. Undercover parking for all rooms. Cleaning staff might need to check under the beds as I discovered a tube of chocolate mint flavoured anal lubricant, obviously from a previous guest. very basic small room. No sample shampoo as in most motels. Not even a soap dish or shelf in the shower to put soap on. No phone or clock radio. The dirt, cob webs, broken lights, broken locks and general unsafe feeling. You felt you were at a construction site. We were lucky it was only for one night. We would not recommend nor stay there again.. Dripping tap in bathroom , mould, dusty, dirt in tracks in windows , not enough car parks for guests , not enough coffee , tea packets supplied. Uncomfortable bed Old decor No shampoo etc Poor food selection in cafe.
