  With a change of plans we were readily accommodated with a change of rooms. The staff went out of their way to ensure everything was to our liking and then left us alone to enjoy our stay. I would highly recommend the Golden Sands to anyone. It is around the corner from the main street and restaurants and across the road from the beach, yet quiet ... wat mensen zeggen » enough to feel isolated. - We were allowed in to the room we had booked early which was very much appreciated. The room itself was basic which is what we ordered. We dont travel and use Motels very much , however we were comfortable.

  The unit was spacious, 3 balconies and very well-equiped. I like the white bed linen. The unit was clean and the furnishings modern. 3 minute walk to beach. We were on the 4th floor but I think the views would be excellent up higher over the beach and river. - Everything!!   Staff were exceptionally helpful, and looked after us very well, especially when we left behind some luggage and they helped us out to get it back. Room was large and comfortable.   ease of after hours pick-up - details were texted through to me with a number to call if there were any problems. The appt we rented was large / very spacious and very comfortable - we only wished we could have stayed another night! - I would rate the Sails Apartments "excellent" in all respects.   We are a group of 2 adult couples on motor bikes, what a wonderful find. Able to park our bikes undercover and outside our room, was fantastic. Everything was within walking distance, the rooms and grounds exceptionally clean. A lovely touch was the Easter eggs on our doorstep on Easter Sunday. Brian and Gail - Unfortunately we did not have time to explore our surroundings as it was a brief trip down but should we return to Forster I would have no hesitation in returning to Forster Holiday Village. Kim was the only staff member we had contact with but we found her very friendly and professional.
