We stayed in a private room that was outside the common toilets/showers and the common are and kitchen was above us so although the place was great was great we got zero sleep with all the noise.

Staff was helpful, and the hostel was very clean. It is a well organized and run facility. The bus and rail station are a five/ten minute walk. The center of the city if about fifteen minutes away.

I made two special requests when I booked (and after I booked), and both were taken notice of to my satisfaction.
I don't like having to pay $5 per day for Wifi. I think that;s excessive for a backpackers which has charges that are higher than most of the other backpacker hostels. I think there should be two hours of complimentary Wifi, and then charges for more than that. Two hours would be enough for keeping check of e-mails, throughout a stay at the YHA
It was clean,close to public transports,friendly staffs,it was d type of accomodation I was after so I enjoy my stay there
Not yha fault but the supermarkets closes early,9.00pm on weekdays n 5.00pm weekends.I think d staffs should let us know otherwise u can starve if dont buy food n restaurant closes early too
Very clean, environment friendly, good and quite bar. Good kitchen.
Its far way from the city nightlife, so its necessary spend some money in taxes if want enjoy that.

Cleanest and most modern hostel I've ever stayed in. The place has clearly been renovated/upgraded recently and it's lovely. I was really impressed. The room ac had heat and cool, which is apparently rare in Australia where most ac usually only cools a room. The room was large, very clean, the shared bathroom down the hall, which is usually the worst part of any hostel, was spotless. The restaurant was very well priced (eating out is always expensive in Oz) and the food was very good.
While it's very conveniently located within blocks of the Roma St. Station, it's a somewhat sketchy section of Brisbane. You definitely don't stay here to hang about in this part of the city.

Went for the rugby so great location as close to the stadium. 15 min walk into city.
The rooms were clean, the staff friendly although very busy with the rugby and football in town. Staff very informative and helpful on sight seeing and places of interest.
Would have liked a TV in the room, couldn't get the AFL football on the TV'S in the community rooms. Only got fresh towells 3 out of 5 nights without asking at the desk. On arrival $120 extra was requested over the price we booked at, I produced my booking and paid no extra after the clerk made a phone call to confirm my price.

Great Place to stay. Very clean. Lockers inside the bedroom. A large Kitchen whith large fridges and lockers. The staff is very helpfull and friendly.
Wifi is a little bit expensive.
I really liked this hostel. It was great and i enjoyed every day of my stay.
It is so clean! Quiet place, though near the city centre. It is nice to have a pool on the roof, with city cbd and river views.
Expensive itself, additional 5$ per day for the Internet makes it out of budget.
The service from Peter the manager was excellent. When we arrived there, my girlfriend was ill, he made a couple of phonecalls to doctors free of charge. When we got back at the hostel, he saw that my girlfriend was still not feeling better, so he upgraded our double room to a better room away from all the noise from the reception. Thanks a lot for this excellent service Peter and the rest of the staff!
I like the big kitchen .and good view one the 3floor! And airCondition is soooo good !fresh air that I need . 我喜歡三樓的大廚房還有美景！冷氣也非常舒服〜新鮮的空氣！
There is no cold water I can drink only hot water can't use by plastic 沒有提供冷水不能用保特瓶塑膠瓶裝它...
Great facilities all very clean, on site cafe does lovely food! Staff very helpful and friendly.
Located a bit far out of town (all hostels in same place though), had to pay for wifi, towels and luggage storage.
Very handy to city and train station, swimming pool and good kitchen.

I had a room with a double bed and ensuite, it was very clean with a beautiful view. I thought the kitchen/outdoor area plus the leisure area all on level 5 were very well set out with the view upstairs also being extremely pretty. The staff were helpful, fun and playful, a real pleasure to be served by.
The only little thing i didn't like was that there was no official social events at any nights that i was there as i was looking forward to mingling, however i did manage to meet a lot of great people.
Quick visit. Clean and value for money.

It's not very central, you can walk, but it takes about 20 minutes. Bathrooms could be cleaner.

bathrooms are not clean and smelly. kitchen utensils are really dirty nobody did clean it properly.
