This is one of the best vacation hotels I've ever stayed in and the
first to be a green hotel!! Beautiful setting butted up to mountains and
river, clean and tastefully decorated, owners were so friendly and
helpful! The reasonable rates are why I will bring my family again next
year! It's also so close to hiking, shopping and special
attractions!

Owners of the lodge were very friendly and brought us champaign and a
box of chocolates on our last night to thank us for our stay. I've
never experienced that! Room was impeccably clean, bed very comfortable,
and decor made us feel at home. Beautiful flowers hung on the front
porch. Reminded me of Switzerland. Great location.

Because I was arriving fairly late, the receptionist called on my cell
to see where I was en route and when I might arrive. When it appeared
that I wouldn't arrive before they closed the desk for the night,
she offered to leave my room unlocked, with the key inside and allow me

First, I loved the care and customer service that comes from a family run business. They were super nice and friendly. Secondly, the facilities were all new and as clean as I could ask for. They provided a great breakfast, and had a wonderful play set and fenced yard outside for kids to meet and safely play. I hated leaving!

The stay was just perfect. Our Host and Hostess were so nice and friendly. The room was lovely and so accessible for us, on the main floor. Food in the Bon Ton restaurant was the best ever. Our breakfast was yummy, to say the least. -
