  This is my favorite hotel in Abingdon - the view of Whitetop Mountain outweighs everything! However, the room is huge, the hotel is very clean, and it is conveniently located right off the interstate. The room has a refrigerator and a microwave. Also a TV and wireless. The rooms are fairly well soundproofed. (Quieter than chain hotels I have staye... cosa dice la gente » d in.) For those who want a "continental breakfast," they have a modest one. (Those concerned about quality food should go out for breakfast or bring - Don't be scared away by the outside plainness. No ambience but if you want a quiet, safe, friendly place, then this is it. Never stayed in a cleaner motel room. Ask for room overlooking the cow pasture & be sure & walk down to the fence & look across to the mountains. Close to I-81 & downtown. Best of all...the nicest staff you'll ever find. Loved Abingdon & loved this motel.
