On the edge of the Peak District, the Riverbank B&B sits on the banks of the River Derwent in Matlock. Riverbank offers country-house style rooms, free fishing and free parking.
Rooms at the family-run Riverbank Guest House feature bathrooms with power showers and hairdryers. The individually designed rooms also include a TV, radio and tea/coffee making facilities.
Cooked English and continental breakfasts are served in the quaint dining room. Produce is sourced locally and the Riverbank can cater for most dietary requirements.
The lounge has comfortable seating and free Wi-Fi. The large garden leads down to the river where guests can fish for trout. On the opposite side of the river is Hall Lays Park.
Matlock town centre has several fine restaurants and pubs. Matlock Train Station is just a 5-minute walk away.

Excellent location. Comfortable bed and room.Large white towels.Supurb breakfast freshly cooked good quality ingredients.Access to lovely garden leading to river bank. Jenny and Graham excellent hosts. Highly recommend Riverbank House.

we liked everything about riverbank, the location was spot on for walking the place was spotlessly clean the people were friendly the B@B was decorated lovely and the garden looked inviting for the summer months.
Really friendly staff; very comfortable room; close to amenities; superb breakfast; excellent room facilities. Jennie, Shelley and Graham could not have done more to make our stay memorable.
