Booked this apartment as a birthday celebration. The apartment exceeded our expectations both in size and facilities. Perfect location overlooking the Hayes and the St David's 2 shopping centre, restaurants at your doorstep and selection of bars. Loved the freedom it gave us, definitely be booking again ASAP. the friendliness of the member of staff who agreed to meet us when we arrived at Cardiff, and came out of his way to allow us to drop off our luggage at the apartment early - and was very accommodating in allowing us to stay over the 11am departure, this meant a lot as we were very tired and the fact that is was raining at the time - thanks a lot.

The staff are friendly and very helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean and tidy. The breakfast is the most enjoyable continental breakfast I have ever seen in hostels, and there are free dinner nights. There is a living room where you can watch films and play video games. The locaton is excellent, just ten minutes walk to the castle.

I liked the fact that it was located so close to the city that I couldeasily walk to major tourist attractions. I also appreciated the use ofthe free car park. - The Mercure Lodge Hotel, Cardiff is a great hotel based about 5 mins from the centre - An excellent base for a weekend in Cardiff. Stayed in an apartment not hotel. Ideally situated, great value and extremely clean and comfortable. Will definitely return. Staff are welcoming, helpful and friendly.
Rooms are well appointed with everything you need. TV with loads of channels, tea/coffee, iron, hair-dryer, alarm clock and phone.
Bathrooms usually have bath with shower over but I have had a room with just the shower which is fine for me. Towels are really big and fluffy which earns brownie points from me.
Bar area is comfy and bar staff lovely. Had lunch here which was very tasty altho a bit pricey for a sandwich
I only used restaurant for breakfast

Pulizia, cortesia, servizi, infrastrutture - l'hotel è extralusso e vicinissimo a Cardiff Central ed al Millennium Stadium ma in posizione strategica x vedere tutta la città! certo, noi abbiamo approfittato di una super offerta, altrimenti non sarebbe alla portata di tutti!! La colazione è abbondante e servita in una sala fantastica!
