  I loved it here. It has a great country atmosphere. The rooms are good with terrific views. WIFI is very strong. The bathroom is very functional. There is a terrific bar and restaurant downstairs. Very cheap to drink and eat. Close to the bus stop, or if you have a car there is lots of parking free.   The staff at this hotel can't do enough for you. I am now stayed at this hotel twice and enjoyed the experience on both occasions. Its proximity to the port of Santander is of particular importance to me. My ferry from Portsmouth arrives late enough in the day that I would not want to drive on any great distance and this hotel is ideally situated.... cosa dice la gente » It is a beautiful old building, well loved and well cared for. I would no hesitation in recommending this is an excellent place to stay. The hotel ha - A lovely building, tastefully restored and modernised, a real discovery! So handy for Santander ferry port, yet quiet, very affordable and comfortable. We had a lovely modern room overlooking the palace grounds, with excellent facilities. Sadly it was Chefs night off, so we had to eat locally - not bad but in a very sad area! Breakfast at the hotel was first class on the terrace! All the staff were very friendly and also very much dog-lovers! Value for money is superb - I highly recommend this

There are no evening meals available but we were given the keys to allow us back in at a time of our choice, so we were able to explore Pedrena in the evening and had a lovely meal at La Trainer, everyone we met with treated us - From the moment we arrived from the ferry, we were looked after so very well. Our host made sure that we lacked for nothing during our stay. The room was perfect with a great view of the garden and breakfast was excellent. Our stay was perfect!
