My room on 1st floor (6) was airy, clean, bright and nicely-decorated. Good air conditioning, pleasant (if slightly cramped) bathroom and shower.

The staff were always extremely helpful with any questions I had. Most spoke French, Arabic, Spanish and English which makes it easy for international travelers.
The breakfast in the morning is a bit pricey but it's a great way to start your day if you're not in a rush. The patio where you eat is really nice in the mornings if the weather is good.
There's a rooftop terrace with seats where you can read or relax in the sun.

The hotel is in a quiet but I believe basically safe though somewhat dilapidated neighborhood.
That said, the hotel itself is as charming a place as you can imagine. Our room had a large terrace overlooking a small but lovely garden with a tile inlay pool.

We loved our stay here. Upon our arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the host with the present of a free upgrade to the best room in the house. The ambiance is relaxed and sophisticated, and the house is absolutely beautiful and perhaps in the best location of Tangier. We love it.

This is a beautiful little "dar" on the north side of Chefchaoen. We stayed in a triple and found it very affordable. Very easy walk up to the mosque, which we highly recommend.
Traditional Moroccan decor, gorgeous little fountain in the living room. We stayed in the summer time and found it to be not too hot at all -- can't attest to winter.

Very good location. The property is well restored and tastefully decorated, with a beautiful fireplace in the communal area that was fired up each night of our stay. Oil heaters are supplied in the bedrooms to take the chill off winter nights. Owner and staff are superbly helpful - we booked multiple nights and received a very generous upgrade. The staff was incredibly helpful....we were coming to Chefchaouen by
private car and were unable to find our way to the entrance ....one of
the guys came down to the town....bopped in our car and led us to the
parking area and helped us take our bags to the Dar.
The breakfast is hearty and fresh...much more than a typical carb overload...and the ambiance is lovely; fireplace going in the chilly morning...great terrasse to relax and take the sun in the afternoon .

We arrived by Taxi and am glad he knows where this Riad is. Sometimes,
they don't know where each Riad is and we have to find it by foot
somewhere near the medina. We were greeted by the most smiley and happy

The Riad was absolutely amazing. The decoration is exquisite and very morrocan. All the tiles are amazing. Our room was lovely with decoration and a huge double bed. The dressing gowns for using the shared bathroom were also a great thought. The staff were all really helpful, but the manager in particular went out of his way to give us recommendations. He helped us organise our guide Mostafa which was perfect for us as two women. We definitely wouldn't have found as good a guide without Idris's

Beautiful location, friendly staff. Good breakfast on gorgeous roofdeck. A lot of care has gone into decorating the rooms. A word of caution on getting there - it is right in the medina, requires about a 5-7 minute walk from where a car can leave you up many many stairs with your luggage. -

A very charming hotel located at a nice and quiet setting. The owner was very friendly. We also loved the moroccan decoration details. The room was well cleaned and even though it did not have air conditioning, it was comfortable inside.
