Though we found the facilities quite basic, this riad delivered what we came for. Ali, the owner, was very available, friendly and responsive to our needs. We wanted to experience desert culture and because of him we did. He took us to a village wedding which happened to be taking place the nite we arrived; he took us on a 4wd trip into the desert to visit a family, hear some traditional musicians, and see aspects of the desert we wouldnt have seen without him. The fact that the riad is located right at the start of the desert made it just perfect.
I would have preferred if the rooms had windows, which it didnt. Thats was our major concern.

the place was all nice and the pool just great in the heat (very cold water though) :) loved the outdoor seating area a lot. we arrived quite late and even though the kitchen was closed they cooked us a lovely meal.
The menu was missing to choose drinks and food.
We were very well greeted by Ali and his staff. Ali quickly arranged jeep and dromedary (no camels in Africa) trips for us. The room was nicely decorated, Maroccan style. We had a wonderful evening meal under the tent by the pool and all you can eat breakfast. Above all we got what we came for, to see the desert, visit a different culture and meet friendly people.
