The hotel was lovely but very hard to find, we wouldn't have found
it if it wasn't for some friendly locals. Food was delicous, the
best food we ate while traveling through Morocco. The staff are very
friendly and helpful they go out of their way to accommodate you. The
locals in the market are all very friendly. The market was amazing the
best we had seen in Morocco, a definate must do.

We were blindsighted by the wonderfull reception and experience we have had in Meknes and at Riad Amazigh! Unfortunately I stayed at Riad Amazigh just for one night. I met the owner Fatima which has welcomed me with a lovely dinner (the olives and lemon chicken tajin was amazing). The room was big, clean. Did not have the chance to use all the hotel facilities. The breakfast was abundant.
The quality of the service is higher than other riads I have been during my holiday in Morocco and the price is fair compared with the overall quality of the experience. I definitely recommend this riad to the peop

It's located in the centre of the souq and you do not expect to meet such a quite accomodation. The roof terrace is unbelievable. You have a perfect view on the medina and can enjoy the atmosphere. The Riad is about 400 years old and if you can have a look into the owners part.

From the moment we entered the Riad Benchekroun we were treated like cherished guests. Rachid and Fattah saw to our every need and helped with all our need including walking to our car, showing us where the secure parking was and helping with the luggage. We chose the room on the terrace and were rewarded with peace and beautiful views.

The staff were welcoming and friendly and were always ready to help.
Nothing was too much trouble - a real 'family' feel to the
hotel, although they have 10 rooms I think. The rooms were spotless and
beautifully decorated with a real eye for detail. Location is excellent
- very close to the gates so you don't have to carry your bags far. -

Tthe “Superior Quadruple Room” (the Pacha room if you are looking at the
riad’s website) easily accommodated two married couples (one double bed
and two twin beds that the staff had pushed together) in somewhat
separated/private areas. The room also had a comfortable couch on
which a short person or child could sleep. The common areas of this riad
are among the most intricately, ornately, and opulently decorated (in a
good way) of any in which I have stayed. Lots of hot water. Staff was

Meknes was a nice change from Marrakesh. Many fewer tourists and many, many fewer locals trying to separate you from your money.

Perfect location, very close to the town hall and a short walk from the
Al Amir train station. It takes 25 minutes to walk to the medina. The
staff is excellent. Very kind and helpful, especially Souad, a lovely
lady in the reception. The room was simple but big, very clean and
