We stayed at the Grand Serai while my wife recieved treatment in Ioanina university hospital. The staff were very happy to help with local information, directions and comunications, for example sending and recieving faxes when we found we needed additional insurance documents for the hospital. We liked the hotel very much, although we only stayed the one night, as we were travelling further into the mountains (next time we will stay longer!) Very good location close to the square of the village. It has nice view to a forested mountain and satisfactorily spacious balconies to enjoy the view. The hotel has the most modern infrastructure in the village from what I saw and it is comfortable for families with babies. (in the hotel only)

Great location in Monodendri with easy parking outside hotel. We loved the stone building and our family room was really nice. Dinner in the restaurant was really wholesome and the breakfasts were good too. The children enjoyed borrowing one of the English speaking DVDs. The staff were very friendly. -

We had a room with 3 beds. Everything was clean and well equipped. The hotel is more or less the last house on top of Konitsa in about 750m above sea level. Our room had a large balcony including a spectacular mountain view and over the town. We really enjoyed the very good breakfast in the morning (fresh boiled eggs or omelet/juice/coffee or tea ham and cheese/jam and honey/yoghurt/cakes/cookies…).
