A comfortable studio apartment decorated with grandmother's hand woven blanket, a bed with a firm, thick mattress and a quiet efficient air conditioning unit. Location, location, location. Across the street, a Greek/Swedish team of archaeologists, also staying at the Kasteli, work at the Haghia Aikaterin site, one of many in the area. A three minute - The owner was very helpful. We loved the location, which is very close to the harbour but still quiet at night. The rooftop terrace was a lovely place to eat breakfast.

We were upgraded to one of the suites which left us feeling stunned - we had 2 floors of exquisite decor and facilities, and we just could not believe our good fortune. The suite also had it's own terrace with incredible views over Chania's Venetian port. The breakfast was superb - you certainly won't need lunch - the yoghurt, in particular, was the best I've ever

  We spent four nights at Evgenia Studios and it was one of the loveliest accommodations we stayed at throughout our trip. We arrived around midnight and Mr Stelios was so kind as to wait up for us. We were given a room that was just as requested, with a view of the harbour from one of the windows. And if you have any difficulties locating the studios, many of the friendly Greeks in the area would point you in the right di - The place is very close to the harbour - located in one of the nicest old streets of Chania. I enjoyed the quiet atmosphere as well as the sea view. The terasse on the roof has a great view over the harbour and the see on the one side, and the mountains on the other. The interior is rather old and not luxury, but I personally prefer that. The bed had been just perfect for me. Furthermore, the owner of the place has been very kind and even waited until I checked in in the later evening.
