This hotel is situated on Lake Konstanz. It is an absolutely gorgeous setting and the hotel is beautiful in every way, the setting, the attention to detail of the staff and the food. There are many places to stay in Meersburg but the best (and only in our opinion) choice by far is the Hotel Strand Cafe. Top notch hotel in all ways, location, staff (English spoken by owner and very helpful and friendly), building, comforts, breakfasts and restaurant. We felt at home and well cared for in the most lovely site and truly were sad to leave and would stay there again and will recommend to our travel agent and all friends heading that way.

The location is with no competition. Not that Meersburg is a particularly big place, but the address says it all - Marktplatz! Simply 5 minutes from everything (except the ferry dock which is down by the lake).

Fantastic location in the centre of Meersburg. Our room had a balcony
overlooking Lake Constance. Best to request on booking as we did. We had
the car but didn't use it at all the time we were there. Were given
a parking space to use at a cheap rate. Lake on the doorstep with easy
access to Konstanz, Switzerland and Austria. Bike hire available at

This guest house was in a good location, being only a 10 minute walk to
the lakeside. The owner was very friendly.and welcoming. The temperature
was in the mid 30's while we were there and as there was no air
conditioning the room was incredibly hot. We moved to the basement the

We stayed at the summer house! You don't need to bring anything even
oil for your cooking! Many kinds of cup is ready and they supply some
delicious coffee for coffee machine. Bed is really comfortable and
clean. I love so much this house! And nice host made me smile! :)
