The hospitality and friendliness of the family who run this hotel. Good food and wine. Excellent value. We arrived late at 9:15 pm after a long days ride and they cooked us a meal. Not many hotels would do that! Safe parking for motorcycles, they even let us use there cleaning materials as motorbikes were dirty after 2500 miles. - Very good restau

150% friendly staff, nice large room, superb breakfast with breathtaking
views, convinient parking. We all slept like babies for 12 hours in
absolutely quiet room:-) Ellenz is tiny town, just a short ferry ride
across the river - nice little Beilshtein with its streets and castle
where we enjoyed views and a tasty meal.

The gasthof is great and the owner is very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks are great (real German) and even for a single biker this place is excellent. The beds are very good and the rooms are very nice without television as you don't need there. The place is just behind the main road what is really great for the rust as there is nothing

The hotel was really nice and the staff friendly. And on Easter morning they had a small Easter surprise for every quest. It made the stay more personal. - The staff was so friendly and personable. The hotel was well kept, and obviously cared for.

Our apartment was spacious and located in a wonderful old building and was very quiet. Despite real winter weather the rooms were easy to heat. -

This place, and the people running it, are excellent. It is a very short drive from Cochem, right on the river, we had a lovely, large room overlooking the river. We spent the weekend in Frankfurt and needed a place to stay for just one night as we extended our trip and also wanted to visit Cochem and Burg Eltz. Friendly welcome by Barbara, very clean and comfortable accommodation. Situated close to many local attractions along the river mosel; including excellent cycling tracks and a lovely outdoor swimming pool (5 minutes walk). Although we did hire a car for the week we took advantage of a free local bus pass.

We stayed in the single apartment it was small but nicely appointed and comfortable. The hosts Helmut and Margit were very friendly and helpful. We got a free Guest Pass for the local bus system that was very helpful as we able to stay in Ellenz which is much less busy than Cochem. Several nice places to eat. Gastehous Preuss is a lovely practical place to stay. We were able to walk to several good restaurants were able to bike and site see along the Mosel river. The wine racks provided easy access to great local wines.

The cleanliness, the quiteness, everything that you may require in the apartment was provided. The locality was perfect to explore the village and also go out for an evening meal on foot.We were able to leave our bycycles locked securely in the garage although we think the Hotel is situated in a safe area.
