The location was excellent. In a building with a huge shopping center. ( marktkhauf). Around you many outlet centers. Few feets away from both the swiss and the french borders.
You also have the hotel patio, where it is open untill midnight.
There is big family park across the street from the hotel.

We only found this hotel because everything in Basel was booked out or too expensive. And what luck that was. It's a three minute train ride in to Basel, and was perfect for us to see the Art Fair. The staff at the Ott Hotel are so kind and friendly, and the food in the restaurant was delicious.

The Karle family were brilliant. They made our stay very comfortable and they even invited us into their home to sit with their friends and taste wine.
