Very quiet situation led to very peaceful sleep ! Restaurant very good, service excellent.The "bunk-bed" solution to "double bed/twin beds" was a good compromise, given the room size.The rate was extremely good value, and was another reason for choice, along with the location .. - Easy and accesible to major routes plus superb if you have yourpet

special. We were effectively welcomed into the owners' home (which
is a very grand castle) and treated as a member of their family for the
duration of our stay. All of the guests were invited to drink and eat
together in the evening.

We were made to feel so welcome by the owners from the moment we arrived until the day of our departure. Wonderful, gourmet food which was plentiful and served by the very friendly staff. We also loved the free flowing drinks in the beautiful lounge area prior to our evening meal and met some lovely people at that time. A stunning chateau hotel and one which we would love to return to.

Very friendly staff they speak very little English. Made us feel very welcome. Clean and functional. This is no Hilton but as a stopover en-route down south it was an excellent choice for location and great value for money. Very good typical French breakfast with great coffee. We had a large room (no.10) with comfortable beds and plenty of hot water for the shower. The weather was poor during our stay but the room had thermostatically controlled radiators so we stayed warm. The proprietor was very friendly and helpful and recommended a good brasserie for dinner. The brekfast was good. We particularly liked the secure parking for our classic car and we were able to put it under cover

Fabulous location and beautiful Chateaux which has been occupied by the family for many generations. Warm welcome from the hostess and later from the host who joined us for drinks in the library. Wonderfully restored middle sized old French house. Staircase seems ancient but beautiful. The decor throughout is tasteful but with the rationed use of bright colours. The very friendly welcome from the owner who was very attentive but not imposing during our stay . The furnishings and decor are excellent more like an expensive boutique hotel than a well prices B&B - While the location was a bit remote it is a very easy walk into the town center - really great we fully recommend it

Arrived after a very long motorbike ride. The welcome was friendly rooms were great. has its own restaurant and bar so no need to go out for anything! Food excellent owner very helpful and good company! Had a glass or two with him after the meal.
We could not have chosen a better hotel. Although on busy roundabout no road noise as double glazed.

The check in was easy, the staff were friendly and helpful (and patient) when dealing with a very sleep deprived customer!
The rooms are not massive but everything one wanted was there and the shower head can be adjusted so if you are very tall like me you can set it high enough to not have to stoop over while showering.
The hotel was easy to fin

Amazing chateau chambre d'hote. Colette couldn't have been more lovely and accommodating. We stayed in Le Suite. My 2 girls loved staying in the chambre jeune filles, and pretended they were princesses the whole time we were there. Our room was beautiful too, with a magnificent four poster bed and our own small en suite.. Heartily recommend. We stopped on the way back to the UK from SW France as the distance was perfect.
